Melee mobs that hit MR

From what I've seen so far (excluding noob lvling caves) just Zuma Temple mobs hit AC. Like almost if not in all the other caves,all mobs (regardless melee / range) hits are "magical" so u need MR, not AC.

I may be mistaking but it seems a little bit odd...

If the mob has an Element, it is considered a magical attack.

If the mob element is neutral (Grey), It is considered a physical attack.

You can see the Element to the left of the Health Bar on the Monster Info.

Wont this make AC defunct as everything late game will be magic based?

Banyo, Departed Valley, Goru Cave to name a few high level areas that are AC only.

I didn't notice the element next to mob health bar... I'll have to check that out for the areas I'm hunting ty for info
