well servers do have players, my server dont have many players as theres a wipe but we have stones, shoes n all that working we have almost got the gift system working if it dont work i have discovered a way to make it work (via npc) and much more so we r hoping for more when we wipe.
perhaps the problem is simply that exists too many server.....
i played in mir2 as guild leader for 2 year, after that i quitted bcose i was boring of the game. After 1 year i put on the mir2 server for my community (we'r about 300 ppl) but i'd like to play and not to do a GM or a System Administrator.
So we switch for other pvt server (they were better then GN official server) but some server close, some server were laggy, some server simply had no idea how to involve people in the game... what to do?
we change the game, we played to lineage, priston tale, blackmoon crnicls, starcraft, shadowbane, etc. etc.
This year QGO made a new mir3, but after the trial period (very fun) most of us don't want to pay for a game 12 Euros, it's really too much for an old game... yeah sure, it has new feature, but still to be mir, and u can't pay a game so much money.
Most of my community wants to play and stay togheter (some r children without CC), so i'm here to start a new server.
(note:
why don't u simply joyn an existent server?
for all the reason above, we tried 6-7 server in the past, and we learnead that if u want something stable u have to do alone or at least a part of the server to assure the continuity of the game if one system administrator quit.)
here is the point
perhaps server owner have to merge all player into only one name, into only one site, into only one community, splitting dungeon and database on different server in different location.
i'm starting with this project, after christmas i'll buy 2 DELL server, and i hope that some other owner server can join me in this project.
