does anyone know how to activate the npc faces in kingnf? in job you would write {npcimg 17} or sumthing in the script, and it would appear in the top left corner of the message box.

in kingnf, the same {npcimg 17} is still in the scripts, and npcimg.wil is in the prelude files, but theres no faces coming up.

anyone know how to get em working?

its more a problem of the client exe u using..some mir3.exe do show the npc faces (in event messages) other and especialy modded ones dont

ive got the npcface working fine through eventmsg. but i thought it might show in the top left corner, or the bottom left where the mob images appear.

not that i know off..on old 2.9b EI serverengine they showed up in npc textboxes but i never seen them since upgrade to JoB

o well. just thought it might b better if they appeared in the image box.

they've also got rid of the monster stats havnt they. (weakness's/protective etc), since the new interface came in. pity.

yup i find that very odd 2...new interface dont show mob stats like moving speed and resistances...maybe they wanna give the players some more to work out for themselfes hehe

true. but it was always a good advantage to know what spells to use against mob. since zt isnt effected by electric, a low lv wiz is prity much useless against one lol.

i suppose it would be quite easy to code its stats in to an npc. you could then set it to replace the quest button at the bottom. hmm
