Anybody else having unbelievably bad days with Plat today?

Had a miner going non stop for 8 hours today and not had a usable piece, couple guildies have had nothing either today.

Before anything is said.

Nothing has been changed in relation to this.

I have never even looked at the mining setup as it is fine so there was nothing to look at.

talk utter crap never seen this happen ever... even when just mining walls this couldn't happen.. but i guess GM will know this aswell.

it was ok before we had refining but now the demand has rocketed ,I spend many hours in the mines most of the time draw a blank on the plat maybe a little tweek would not go a miss

I mined for 5 mins and got 2 plat 15's the other day but kept mining the rest of day and nothing its really random

Like Muffinpie, until today ive been getting 1-2 pieces per hour of usable plat. and iv had baron streaks an such.

however, I am now upto 10 full hours mining today and still haven't had a piece of plat over P11, realllllly bad streak.

Of course it is possible, it is a random system.

You could play the lotto once and win the jackpot or could be playing for 50 years and win nothing.

Random is random.

random is supposed to be random, but as well all know it is a computer code that is designed to show randomized results. Should mining be random? is it justified? no not really, as it stands now, players who do not have 3 pcs or do not have the time to afk mine all day are at a serious disadvantage. It is what it is, and will not ever change. If it could change what would it even change to? Its mining and the players who put the most time in, usually do get rewarded.

Just to add to this I've been mining casually on and off since about 10am and I have had 2x15pur and 1x12pur Plat. Only had a couple of duds tbh.

I finished my disastrous day of mining with 0 usable plat in 13.5 hours, I didn't go back today lol, maybe tomorrow.
