Poll : Should Deva be kept same or revert back to the intelligent version?

As title, since the update Deva is idiotic, before the update she was smart, stayed close and when in trouble she rt'd about. Now she lures on you, never goes for what you attack and recalling her to you while she has a few mobs on her means she will wonder off screen to chase these mobs? Really, does anyone like this new "Euro" version of Deva?

Bring back the older smarter more intelligent Deva please. No idea why people want everything "Exactly like Euro" Euro was ****ing broken and half arsed, how bout you let the people who can Code and Program have some fun with ideas for a change instead of "We want Euro clone, we want Euro clone." I for one would like to see this game evolve and advance and that cannot happen with the Euro, Euro, Euro crys every time something is added or changed.

So basically am asking all Taos on server what you think, Deva is better now or worse now? Should she be Euro style or new style?

I've not got Deva but watching it in STKR (Chewoo has it) was painful.

It went all over the place.

The previous version looked clever (Although I wasn't a fan of the spell it used).

As with you I don't want a euro clone either - If we wanted that there are others already used sets of files that emulate that well enough. We want Mir to evolve and attract new players to the game (The files as they are have vastly improved the player experience)

Needs changing back it is useless as it is now it's done nothing but be a pain in the ass everytime i summon mine back to me it vanishes back over the other end of the room im in which is no use to me over there when i need her with me. Most times she does not even hit anythin it stands there gormless the book itself goes for 15m and as it is now i would not pay 3m for it thats how bad it is. I dont see why she was changed in the first place she was perfect.

you will probaly find the inital change was to bring it in line with euro, i prefered the attack of the new deva vs the old but i also like theinteligence of the new whay i didnt like was the fact it just basically satyed where everyou summoned it

if they could make it use the new attacks and rt options wiht the ability to follow it would very much be a better spell, this also would include losing the agro of the mob its attackign when its summoned back, dunno if any of the abve make sense but i know what im trying to say lol

I voted change deva back but would like to keep the lightning attack she has now if possible , find it easier now that Deva does an average damage not like with previous attack where can hit 44 say with fireball then next attack hits 3 with the ice attack.

I don't think the two attacks really suited Deva, T-bolt is nice and consistent and plus it looks good.

To hear from a GM about this would be sweet. Just to see what they think and if the changes are going to be implemented. The people (be it only Taos this time) have spoken out again, can we make a difference? Or is this going to be swept under the rug? Only time will tell.

they are going to be redoing Pet controls at some point, so i assume this would play a part on their AI anyway.

if they add commands like Follow (return to player) / Attack (same target as player) / Follow/attack X target.

Jamies C server had follow but dont attack, follow and attack, attack but don't move and don't move dont attack. It was awesome but the attack but dont move would provide afk leveling like on Jamies!

Deva is ok as it is now with the exception of its attack...TBolt simply sux compared to how it was before eve if its just graphics. I remember deva shooting a big blast for higher dmg and a normal blast...now its just plain old sucky tbolt.

I finally got Deva and can now fully comment on just how useless she is (instead of just watching other peoples Devas on hunts) and well, why does she keep wondering away from what she is attacking until out of range then waits at that location until the mob is dead? She never did anything like that on Euro, yeah she would wonder around a little but she never went out of range and just sat there being well she just becomes an ornament.

I don't think changing her back to what she was is the answer but she really needs to be looked at, her AI is a joke right now.

Ok really, how many of you people voting even play as a Tao? Because 11 people who think Deva is ok need their ****ing head examined. I mean seriously, soloing with her is a joke, as I said all she does is T-bolt the mob but then flys off into the darkness out of range then waits there until the mob is dead. To which some people might say "Just recall her" ok tried that, she keeps going back to same spot out of range. Don't get me started on how much she lures on you in some places (STKR).

She is useless, she is broken, she needs sorted. Please GM can you give Taos back their only decent pet? At the moment I don't even wanna play a Tao anymore... Heard wizzies rule this server, might aswell fall in line and play one of them.

A word from GM about this is still to be heard... Cmon seriously let us know something!
