Questions:

I have tried setting up my server to try play both offline and LAN. When I try running it offline, i got everything running except im not sure why everytime i get jumped out to windows after pressing Ok on the server notice. I guess its my client problem? And how do i fix this problem? I downloaded Ledu client but i see some ppl posting Ledu Editor pics showing that they somehow link them together or **** like that.. And then i cant find where to get ledu editor if someone can give me a hand.. Apart from that, is it possible to host the offline server files on a LAN game by changing the ips?

1) you are getting kicked out due to not having proper client in your mir folder.. goto mir200 folder and find mir.dat , copy that to your client folder, and then change it from mir.dat to mir.exe

Ok.. some changes here.. Now after i click start on my char. Server notice dont popup and the screen just remained black eventhough i leave it there couple of minutes.. u know the problem mate?

and sometimes this windows socket error popups up.. API bind error or somewhat.. then i have to re setup the internet protocol again.. is there ways to solve this?

there are 101 reasons why the notice wont show... search for keyword "notice" in search area....

and the 3In1 progame curropts your API bind

its not always the 3in1 prog that can do this, kiatz may have another prog using the same port as the gate, or may have opened the gate twice this will also give the error.
The way i got round this was by renaming my mirserver folder and changing all the paths in all the .ini files.

3in1 corrupts the TCP/IP settings .

TCP/IP is part of the API Bind

API Bind is 7 diffrent protocals whcih makes sure your little internet/ethernet/intranet works, if one of them goes, then it wont go. so the error comes up with API Bind as, maybe 1 or all 7 goes

Hmm, well the 3in1 exe hasnen't caused me any problems whatsoever, but i have still had the error, i think i fixed by making sure the IP's and path's are correct.

if you have the API bind error, then one of your 7 protocols has been curropted. you might of set it by mistake to disable it , and can still get on the net(which is highly non advisable) it dosent always curropts TCP/IP protocol.

and to fix the error, you cna simply just change paths :P

Yup, i think that only happens on Win XP.

I have finally given up hope trying to run ledu server files and got untouched server file working. Then I tried running ledu server again and found out 1 thing that is happening, that is i have to remove my winsock and winsock2 and then setting up my TCP/IP with windows\inf everytime i reboot my pc once. I have to do this both on ledu server and untouched server files just to not get the Windows API bind and windows socket error.

So, from what i see you guys are trying to say, it might be my path error on the .ini files? Cos i found the solution to Windows API bind, it's just i can't start playing the game after the select Char part, nor the notice will prompt. And besides I have used C:\mirserver dir just as the one the ledu server file used.. it shouldn't be a problem running when others dont face my problem. I tried revising every single line on the paths and I still dont see problem with it. And by the way, ledu server files is running v1.4 right? And where can I get mir 1.4 file or is there any .wil files for v1.4 only so i can see/view graphics of the new items.

There is no such think as LEDU SERVER FILES never has been and never ever will be
dont have a clue where anyone got that idea

LEDU IS ONLY A CLIENT and its a 1.9 and 1.4 client all in one (the chinese are good)

the reason your TCP/IP is messed up is because you are using a very old reg server that corrpts them (there are warnings all over the forum about it) use one of the new ones there is about 3 of them now that work fine

Download the foundation server files as they are already setup and they work read the many 1.4 and 1.9 guides that are posted all over the forum
read my post called "The one post you will ever need" there are links to everything you will need in that post and fixes for most of the errors you will come across there too

The only problem you have is that you are using the wrong reg server a tiny problem that has blown up to be a big one in yours eyes

But once again I will say LEDU is a CLIENT and not a set of server files
