1 the First thing you should do is click start/run type cmd Enter Dos interperter opens then type ipconfig /all
This should display your IP your sub net your default and your DNS ips
write all of these down
2 now go to start control panel then click on network connections then right click on your working internet connection and goto properties then click on the internet protocal TCP/IP
hit the properties button this will bring up a window that has option of obtain my ip automaticly or use the follow ip address. click the button that says use the following ip adress now enter an ip LIKE the router ip that you should have something like (Assigned Router IP) 192.168.1.100 but instead we will enter a number like 192.168.1.5 it doesnt matter what ip you make up as long as its 192.168.1.____ and it stay in the range of .2 to .254 k for the rest of the boxes fill in the values that we got from using ipconfig for each enter sub net, default and the dns ips hit ok and close thats done
3 now open explorer and type in your default ip (Router IP) hit enter this should bring up a login for your router most have user name and passy and most use admin for passy and username
Once your in your router you want to find the area that says port fowarding then Enter these ports 7000 7100 7200 and 3000 If the field offers a begining port then and ending port put the same port for both for each field. make sure to enable both tcp and udp then make sure to acutally enable the forward its self mine displays a check box click
Then enter the static ip address you made earlyer in the box 192.168.1.5
then enter a name dont matter what just cant be the same 1 for each field mir1 mir2 mir3 ect
Some router require you to call support for your router because of them only allowing certain ips to be used for gaming.
PS be sure to change the ips in your server files to the new IP you made Local 192.168.1.5
