i'm living in Toronto area (canada) and i'm searching people that wants to start a new server, i don't need pc or hardware (i'll buy it), but technical experience on mir server.

i'm planning to buy 2 DELL server, simply 2 P4 3+ghz 2gb RAM Sata HD , not so special, not so weak, something affordable.

for now i spent too much for buying 2 license of win2003 server ent. and for sql license.

after few months i'll see, if ppl needs something more or simply i have to quit the server

i do see the point, but i've been using a non "Retail" OS for the past 5 years, nothing has happened, and im sure several hundred thousand people are doing the same

edit: omg.. just realized it's an old post... anyway... if you want to host something for someone, you should show your EXPERIENCE. Saying you have a 2mb connection doesn't really help cuz any type of server rely on upload rate.

choose your team whisly. dont pick the first person who offers. half the people who do wont know squat. joining teams with NMAA or TritoN may be a better idea than choosing newbies to help create your server. it usually ends up with constant posting in the help section and not getting anywhere far.
