Serious suggestion about forum mods

Can we all stop this now, I am to old and tired for crap like this and it takes to much time away from adding stuff to the server for you all the play and enjoy

Infractions mean nothing, so can only assume the special people get worked up.
No one is disputing your neutral posts, you're one of the good ones. Theres a section for Mir files, the individual sections are for the players to talk about the game. Even the hitlers of the Euro forums (Duckbill / Enembius) wern't complete asses. We have a search button to be able to look for threads, though even Chronicles rarely has new threads made anymore.
All mir players have the same level of intelligence as they used to back in the day of playing. You still have your serious people, like SirTwist for example who wants to stop poverty. I come on here for a laugh, the forum is a DULL place without some banter.
Tai being Tai, and just because he's been an ass for years, doesn't make my post any more irrelivent, only the fact that he's been the same for much longer than Chronicles has been around for? Personally, i've only been on this forum since about March this year, but from what other people say he's not exactly a liked person. Though maybe thats the reason for the nerd rage locking?
As for all the back end work that goes on, i've ran many forums back in the day, and by the looks of this forum, nothing happens in the background lol. The forum dies when Chronicles server goes down, it can't handle 30 people viewing it.
Theres probably a good reason other servers arent interested in joining here, and run separate forums, i'd be wondering why, and try to bring a mir community together... but what do I know, i'm just a casual player
I'll agree their special, some people just hate being told off and get worked up over it. Chronicles rarely has new posts these days because there isn't much to say, it takes off mainly when there's a new update, or event or for bugs, which in my honest opinion is fine. Most of the stuff that gets spoken about on here could be said in game quite easily, instead they bring it here to INCITE a flame war. If you haven't noticed this the past 3 months i'd be surprised, truely.
It's fine coming to the forums for banter, it is, but again it's knowing the line between a forum and a guild chat I guess? The forum issues in the past weren't anything to do with us actually, it was the main server itself having issues I think. A lot of servers still advertise here for the record, there is only 2 I know of that are banned from advertising here, mir 3 itself sadly is a dead section due to no server development, mir 2 over summer flares up, over christmas things get slower because people have christmas shopping etc to worry about more. On tai not being a liked person, neither is any mod really, i've had disputes against me, seen against kori, BH, every mod someone has had a problem with at some point. They feel they were infracted wrongly, or abused however it is just the rules being enforced.
I will admit that we may look into ways to make banter easier per say, but we have to be careful of overspill, as that's when more issues arise. We had threads spiral out of control over cheaters, over hacks the works not too long ago and it gets tiresome cleaning it, i'm glad most people have learned without proof don't bother. [For the record aswell, the mir community is only about 500-1000 that I know of these days, [excluding chinese] so i'd say the forum does quite well to be honest. Sorry you took the gripe of a casual player to heart though].
