1 - Decoy - While summoned it could take 50% of the damage taken by the real character.
- This would give the archer some of the much needed defensive abilities and would work as a very half way skill between magicshield and shadowstep.

2 - PowerShot - Keep cooldown but remove level cap - Could work against any level - if theya re lower level they go back the full 5? spaces if they are equal or above they go back only 3.
Currently Archer is the only class with a non spam-able repulse style skill.
This would also offer slightly more survive ability whilst adding an extra level of dynamics to the game (power shot into a trap) or warrs/sins approaching along walls to avoid knockback.
*doesnt work against boss to avoid reverse ping pong*

Both of these are good ideas but you dont have time to cast a decoy once decoy/met is on you, what about if power shot pushed the archer backwards away from a player instead of pushing the target backwards, kind of like dash but you cant use it to push mobs like you can with dash?

This is also a good idea.
Similar to the DemonHunter skill from Diablo3 that performs a lower damaging attack but also performs a backflip after shooting to create a distance between them and the target.

I don't think not having time to cast decoy is a bad thing.
The skill would be so much more beneficial (when you manage to cast it) if it did take half of your damage.

I also think the cooldown on decoy should go into effect after you've switched places with it

I always thought piercing shot was a terrible spell and didnt fit into the class at all, they should of give archers the mass aoe arrow shower or something.

Something like this would be good, make it like the archer version of blizz and met one with ice shots one with fire shots wouldnt mind being rooted to the spot like wizzies for a spell like this

I did mention this many months ago, I think this is what archers need. A spell that pushes them back and if targeted at a player also pushes them back, no level-limit on it. It has an internal cooldown so it can't be abused.

Hopefully with Trap skills they'll have more utility/survivability.

I also think Decoy needs to be more smart but im unsure as to how to change it.

+1 to anything that buffs archers

In comparison to a Wizard I find it a bit silly how they have no damage mitigation(magicshield) and they are meant to be a single target class, yet a wizards FF(AoE) can hit for more then an archer using a singe target spell.

Example - I was in wtkr then FlameField shows up and hits everything for 323 damage with 1 cast of FF. Yes I know wooma mobs are not a good example, but that pretty stupid and If FF is hitting for that much then I would expect FireShot to be doing around 500 a hit, would make sense.
