What kind of CPU do u have?

maybe he means 3600 and thinks that is the AMD cpu speed (in mhz then converted it to ghz making it 3.6) and not just the cpu number?
so im guessing he has a AMD Athlon XP 3600 or something along those lines.
so ur saying u have a AMD Althon running at 3.2 ghz?
my AMD Althon 64 3200+ is only 1.99 ghz ...
the AMD Athlon™ 64 FX-53 runs at 2.4 ghz the same with the 3600+ and they are (i think) the best AMD cpu's out.
i think in not reading all the posts you have mistaken the conversation, we are not talking about intel's cpu's which is common knowledge that they can reach 3.2 ghz shop brought and 3.6 after overclocking, AMD cpu's are much hotter than intel's before overclocking and as urbanfox said you cant get up to 3.6 ghz w/o spending a **** load of money

there is no such cpu named the amd athlon 3600+ xp or 64bit. the athlon xp 3200+ runs at 2.2ghz, not 2.0ghz. and actually no, intel cpu's r a lot hotter,especially if u got a presscot.on full load with a descent heatsink and fan my stock 1.8ghz amd is overclocked to 2.64ghz and never reaches 52c.
well whatever i was just saying what i thought sep ment and was telling ferril what u were tlking abt in the other posts (i was giving him the specs of the chips as names mean nothing :P).
