Widescreen

While will this server not go to wide screen!! I'm constantly squinting at the screen to see what's going on lol, iv tried all the resolutions and even adjusted my screens resolution, I mean running in window mode, then alt and enter and it'll go from window mode to normal mode but it's still the same size on the screen, just a square in the middle! Any help?

u can run full scale mode via your oprions for ur gfx card, how ever this upsets all the buttons and nothing lines up

Works fine on my little brothers pc and laptop, just my screen it just won't run widescreen and it's like it's zoomed right out and everything is really small lol

He will have set his monitor to run at a different res which will stretch image. try 1023x768

So it's the matter of adjusting the screen resolution to the game resolution settings, that will allow it to stretch yer? Iv tried and no joy no matter what I set both resolutions to, just stays centre with 2 black stripes either side or runs in a window in the same place

LOL mine works in full screen now at 1080p looks stupid thou as its 24" widescreen dunnow how i did it was just messing about set my monitor to 1024x768 then ran in full screen and it worked so i put it back to 1080p and when i loaded in widescreen it still worked lol

Bit of a mess of a post but hope it helps (btw when in widescreen on a widescreen monitor it stretches the image.

Yer iv tried mucking about with the monitor resolution and game resolution, it just dnt seem to do anything lol yet it works fine on both my other PC and laptop :S

It could be monitor setting other than resolution. It's how the monitor maps out the picture. Look for some settings like 1:1 Stretch, Zoom and such like.

You mean the buttons on the atchal monitor where you adjust the brightness etc and which mode? Ill give it ago

I have tried everything now, and I just carnt get this server to run full screen, if I log on a other server bam full screen, soon as I log on here just goes square mode in the middle of the screen with 2 black spaces either side like its running in window mode but it's not :S so thrustrating!
