In a situation where I can stand still and spam arrows with rapid fire, then yes i can beat single target dps of a wiz, but if im moving about kiting and shooting then a wiz can high harder per hit then me single target with lightning.
And I was kinda joking about the lightning thing, hence the smiley. I have posted before that it makes no sense that wiz single target spells hit lower single target damage then mass attack skills, which adds to the wiz's mana bill for no good reason. T-bolt and FD both need a small buff IMO, lightning only seems strong because of how weak they are. I tried for weeks to convince varaka to use single target spells, but he insisted on using lightning while proceeding to use the all the mp pots in my bag as well as his own when we hunted :P
The 3x3 area attack skills also seem weak vs the mp cost too, maybe they should be looked at too. (firebang, icestorm)
