hey guys im currrently working on my own 2.6 ruby server but every 2.6 client i try to download fails at the 171mb mark and says its corrupt and closes. ive tried the in the sticky from rapidshare and someone has linked me one in my private messages and both have failed at 171mb, does anyone have a working link to a full 2.6 client please?

thanks

Do you have enough space on your hard disk?

I can't imagine any other reason for multiple links to fail at the same place.

Don't restart - That's a fix on Heroes not Ruby.

Your server has not loaded properly. Have you changed the IP's?

yep its all set to internal 127 etc it just seems to sit at the hurdle on the loading screen, although ive just noticed my m2server is saying gate not ready 127.0.0.1? and it gave a message saying 0122? not sure if that makes any sense to you guys

0122?

That's probably a map that wasn't converted for ruby... I think at least lol.

Do you have all the maps in mirserver/M2Server/Map?

Have you set the link correctly in the DBserver config? MapInfo path c:/mirserver/m2server/envir

If there's another window popping up with random numbers, I guess that means the maps aren't converted for ruby... and it won't read them.

uhh not entirely sure from what i read it was a 2.6 client so i figured it would work the same as it seems to beworking compared to the 2.3 client that didnt it just wont pass this load screen and the error on m2server

balls so this could be the issue?

Yea... The m2Server reads only ruby special converted maps, won't read 2.3 or any 2.6. That's why you get errors, that's why it won't start I guess (error is :Loading maps after that rubym2failed and you get all ip errors on m2server)
