The team has probably thought this through so it would be nice to see your response as to why you think it's not an option.

Make Hardtorch (s) a tradeable item.

  • It will indirectly allow those who wish to purchase gold do it in a way which benefits the server, and impact the bots and gold traders. (Obviously the economy of torches would be unstable initially but they would eventually reach a stable price).
  • Those who have plenty of gold but don't have the option of paying real money will be able to purchase the larger torches from the TM and wont have to carry the horrible small ones with their light radius.

Whilst I was playing I had to farm gold from bosses, then sell it to people for GG, or just sell it full stop and use the money in my paypal to buy GG which involves various steps all putting myself and others at risk of scams etc.

Some stuff should be trade allowed from the GameShop. I'd say even allow most of it to be put on the TM.

It would atleast double the servers revenue for a start.
would make gold gaining easier for the more casual player.

the only problem I see with these torches is they make items that are not suppose to last forever... Last forever. Never liked them. Why not just up the drops from mobs instead of having to use these torches.

Hard touchs are in drops

No items from the GameStop should ever be tradeable it just makes things easier for players who have money to buy GG items and sell them for gold (ie gold buying)

That makes sense if gold selling and item selling for rl cash wasn't so prominent. 15% of the server is on a character they ha bought from someone else.

and it puts the money in your pocket rather than the people you advertised in game will get banned.

In the last few weeks I have only ever had 1 gold seller reported to me with screenshots of them selling the gold.

It's very hard to ban gold sellers if we do not know who they are, it's not like they are going to sell gold to a GM :P

If they banned the people they knew were buying gold for real life cash - iNoob/Lkira/Jeras and their friends would be gone - these guys spend £1,000s on GG for CursePots/HT's and Exp pots - no way in hell are they getting banned.

Thus they can't really ban anyone else, because if they did - the people who have sold the CashCrew their gold would come out and post screenies of ingame and PayPal transactions etc and it would be an absolute corruption cluster****!

Easier to say it's hard to track.

Bug exploiter? You serious?

the server team have already said they have no problem with players selling gold earnt from honourable gameplay. It's the gold farmers with bots that are the problem.

i have a job proposition for you tai,

**** off!

If someone is going to buy gold Babyhack, they will do it by any means. Wouldn't you rather gold sales benefit the server as opposed to encouraging bots and gold farmers?

Name one occasion I've ever bug exploited. How I act/get along with people is my character, I'm overly friendly and easy to trust so if you like to call that brown nosing then so be it.

But we all know who they are and thats irrelevant to selling shop stuff ingame. You can't buy chars to put on TM in the gameshop
We all know who spends real life cash ingame.
Server staff don't want to be involved, arent able to track n prove so they get away with it.
TY for reply BH. Hope it stays that way

People who want to buy gold, will do it whether it's 'frowned upon' or not. Currently it only benefits bots and gold farmers and as long as that is the case they will be a fundamental part of the server (which they are).

if you make hardtorches (as an example) trade able then it means that the average player can buy shop torches for their kit, and those that wish to buy money from gold farmers will instead make a purchase in the game shop and put the items in TM.

Obviously price and demand will dictate that the gold farmers will always just lower their prices, or shop items will go very cheap in TM but the overall effect is that;

a) more torches are bought
b) gold farming is less profitable and hopefully less bots
