I think it's the one from mir forever where all the monsters looked completely f'd up and dropped non-repairable items with the best stats ingame.

Lunar entrance was in TreePath.

Dropped rings like DC2-14, but couldn't be repaired. Had to use an item like a hard torch to keep them.

They dropped with random duras... so you could have one drop on dura 1/12. They would sell cheap. The Dura 12/12 ones would be more.

Dura 37 is wrong, clearly.

There were two versions actually, one type that dropped with 3 dura max but it could be dura 0/3 and then very rarely some that dropped with 6 dura as max, the higher dura they were the more they were worth generally, the boss in there was called Flaming Mutant and was nasty as hell, the spawns were also crazy which kept lower levels out of there due to the speed of the spiders & the ranged attack of the crystal spider type mobs.

Make it so HTs don't affect these items and you've got yourself a great idea :)

Then no one would use them :P just make them incredibly rare & only with the max dura of 3 they will eventually die then.

Honestly the only map I want to see from USA was http://mirguide.com/pages/map_ancientruins as it came with 2 cool looking bosses and lots of good mobs, I just can't seem to find the mobs on any website haha

Didnt the higher dura items have an 'H' on the end? Really can't remember.

Ancient ruins was good but i'd argue not quite big enough? As people used to favour certain areas of the map based on the mobs/their class, so some areas remained much less hunted than others. Could always implement the idea that's been suggested several times now of having level-tiered maps? i.e. 35+, 40+, 50+ etc?

Even with no repair, if they were affected by HT they wouldn't die. You'd have lower levels wearing lvl 56 equivalent gear and they would gem it up.

As someone who is a little OCD and remembers random numbers, I noticed it took depress FOUR MONTHS to go from dura 6/32 to 5/32 on his bluedark armour just from using hardtorches in drops. Take that into consideration when you ever plan to release non-repairable items.

I love the idea of having Luna cave in game. Good exp, chance of a good drop and a boss thats needs a group to kill it. Can't get much better than that.

flaming mutant was just a sub on 1f..3f+ got crazy hard..would love to see this cave/mobs ingame tho i rly did like it..rewrite the drop files to suit chronicles tho ofc

Wasn't the problem with ancient ruins that the bosses didn't work properly.
USA was mostly bad and the lunar maps didnt work properly, the doors didn't go where they should. The OP stupid stat items to keep the punters handing over their cash were supposed to be craft ingredients.If you collected enough and got a very rare item from last boss you had the chance to make a very nice(stupidly overpowered) item. Didn't work though like much of that server.
The pay to enter cave entrance was in BW so no effort needed and if you died you could be back in moments.

Was that the one where it didn't hit taos?
Wasn't usa the one where they doubled everyones HP, stealth increased the defence stats, messed up the levels and cheats prospered?
