If that's your threshold for being an asshole, I worry. It's like the 3rd or 4th time I've seen the 'wasn't it sent out to all LOMCN users', as if somehow that means that thousands of people will start playing Mir all of a sudden. Admittedly that doesn't seem to have been you pointing it out in the other places, now I look, so apologies for the assumption. The point is still rather stupid though, honestly how many users would have been enough for you to think it wasn't disappointing?

It's been confirmed in the Zircon thread, by Tai. Plus we all got the email, you included presumably (or you should have done any way).

You didn't just ask that though. You said you expected more (not really a question I guess, but you implied confusion with the question mark) and then asked why there wasn't more online. So I was referring to that really.

How many were you expecting for it not to be disappointing? Again, not trying to be an arsehole now, just asking why you were disappointed with the highest numbers a Mir 3 server has seen in a fair while, when you consider its literally the quietest part of the day/period it's still massively higher than anything else too.

I've been playing P2W games for quite some years now and as a semi-p2w player I though that I would share my thoughts (what does semi-p2w mean ? Well for example now I play FIFA Mobile and its a P2W game, all the top players put in thousands of dollars each week and I only buy stuff worth of 5-10$ a month). So after I played in the first alpha and the buffs from shop did not exist when they were introduced after wipe they made a HUGE difference when starting out the game from level 1, it helped alot not only with the xp and gold drop rate but with the damage buffs and now after playing again without the buffs everything is really hard and takes forever to kill/make gold.
So everyone that got all the buffs got a big head start untill people can buy the buffs free with the hunt gold. While I find the hunt gold a verry nice adddition and a big thank you to Jamie for making the permanent and temporary buffs free for all players if you play enough time you will have them eventually. Starting out from level 1 seems really bad and kinda unballanced vs the players with ALL the buffs, and if we look at the top players they are already 32+ and if you search a player without a single buff I doubt he is level 25.
So at the end of they day the game shop is ballanced great with the hunt gold except when starting out.
