PT / ZT / BP changes needed please!

Hi,

I am fairly new to this server so I am much lower level than anybody. In fact, I am just level 38 and I am a wizard.

The problem I have found so far is that when I go leveling in PT, I have noticed that higher level wiz are hunting there too! Much higher!!! They told me they are cash hunting. They take all the mob and I can't level as quickly when they are in the cave. My solution to this would be to half the mobs that spawn, this way it will hopefully stop the higher levels coming here, because they won't make as much gold.

Also, my friend is a sin, he is very high level, he is level 43!!! BUT he is struggling to find the BP and ZT sub boss mob, and he would like to kill them. It takes him so long to find each one, he can't run through because the monsters hurt so much! LOL! I have seen Warriors just running past all the monsters and then finding the sub bosses and killing them. They don't even get hit by the mob! BIGGER LOL! My solution to this would be to make it so the sub bosses spawn at the entrance to each sub boss floor. This way it is much fairer for all classes and lower levels have a chance to find the sub bosses and kill them. At the moment high levels are monopolizing these sub bosses and it is not fair!


Also, my guild is not strong enough to kill ZumaTaurus yet, so I think it is only fair that the stronger, higher level guilds who can kill it, share their drop. Perhaps a Global Drop chance every time they kill it? This would make is so much fairer on people who don't have time to level, or prefer pissing around all day rather then leveling, it would give us equal chance at all the previously mentioned problems.




On a serious note, WHAT THE HELL IS THE DROP CHANCE ON BOOKS IN GORU CAVE? phaha.

Why half the spawns? Then it's just screwing new players from getting more exp.

Its hard to find ZT sub because there are upto 10 warriors hunting there (needs to be more areas) and people running through to find it. hard for anyone to find.

Theirs no purpose hunting in anywhere else as a Warrior other than ZT > BP, everywhere else has too high DC to make it worthwhile. They need to make the other areas (WT, AST, DV, RMV) viable as hunting grounds.

I posted about this in the discord and practically got laughed off as "trying to change the whole game" I even posted a screen shot comparing monsters in Banya Stone Cave to Despair Valley and it clearly shows the monsters in DV are twice as hard in terms of DC, have the same HP and offer the same EXP as BSC. Just to further put this into context the things in DV are level 30, things in ZT are 45. The things in ZT hit for less damage, are easier to kill due to them having weaknesses to elements and give 5-6x the exp of DV.

I was thinking last night, and maybe the gold / item drops should just be put down in PT / ZT / BP. This way higher level people will have to hunt in FleaCave to make money like the rest of us.

My level 43 sin seems to not do much damage to big lures of mob? The wizzards are out leveling him fast. Maybe they should be capped on how much EXP they can earn a day? TO give lower levels a chance at catching them up. 3mill exp a day sounds fair. Perhaps we could get an AEO like tempest for sins that scales of MP? Like, for 1Mp, it does 1 true damage per millisecond?

Maybe we should remove sin from game, SIN is already overpower, Sins are 1 hit killer, its a single target high dmg type, Wizzard are AOE , each class have his role ingame.

I don't mean to be curt but you seem very out of touch with the way in which Mir works.

My current level requires 44,000,000 exp. By your post I would take 15 days to level...... you can't cap people on what EXP they earn or on the areas in which they can hunt. As a general rule you get diminishing returns on EXP once you are a certain level above the level of the monster. If higher levels were prevented from hunting and getting drops in places like PT for instance, this would have a major negative effect on the economy and the supply of items required for refining.

The best advice I can give is stop thinking of Mir in the same terms as other MMOs, level caps, slowdowns etc don't fit in here. Sins are designed to be solo-target killing machines, so you're never going to outpace a Warrior in ZT or a Wizard in PT. Instead you should be hunting lower populated dungeons that offer high EXP (West Desert).


The only issue IMO, is were tunnelled into 1-2 different dungeons for a prolonged period of time. This in turn gets worse as more people get to level X, during peak play hours etc. The solution would be to offer more levelling areas requiring different types of kit to be successful, but then I'll be accused of "wanting to change the entire game". Either stick it out and hope people move onto other areas eventually, or keep levelling till you can move onto somewhere different.

So, this is something that Korean Mir addressed sometime either during or after the release of Episode 4.

Depending on how this server is planning on going forward and which areas are going to be released for the level 80-100 range etc., it could be a solution here as well.

The devs basically re-balanced all the items and power curve. It spread people out more. If you look on the Korean site you can see all items, even those from lower levels have been boosted in stats, certain monsters were also adjusted. Things like ZDS is now 6-12mc base, not 2-9. The increase in stats allowed people to spread into what are now in Korea mid-level areas quicker and allowed the later level areas to not be insanely difficult.

Can we also have a system where theres global exp. Everyone levels at the same rate, so the higher levels share their exp with everyone else.

Gold drop in BP is bad :/ not enuff for the pots , same in PT / ZT ?

I don't even know what or where BP is... to me BP is Bichon province :P

But ZT doesn't drop gold, hardly any, or pots.
Basically I only seem to find Statue Fragments and even they aint that common.

I find it easier to just stick to BSC, at least I can lure kill in there.
