Not sure what flea cave you're hunting in but if you can make 12,000,000+ in 5-6 hours it clearly isn't the same one I'm hunting in.

Not sure about 12m in 5-6 hours but I think it's certainly possible to make over 1 mil an hour in fleas without finding a TS. I guess it depends on how busy it is though. I think I average about 1M/Hour on a decent hunt.

Again, and not wanting to sound like a broken record, this is why itemsation was changed, Vigor set only gives +50 HP/MP now in Korea to make it less important. Almost all armours after 33 give some HP/MP and the values are higher than the Vigor Set.

It should have never been the case in any version of the game that a single set was so important for a class and it looks like official devs finally addressed it.

Would love to see something similar done here.

it wasnt the go-to set though on alpha lifesteal set was. im in the same boat as UnluckyXIII, havent had a single vigor set piece drop and i do hunt it reguarly. more than some people who have found like 2 pieces, yet admittedly nowere near as much as you. i will probably give up and just cash to buy it as i can agree with it being almost essential for mid to low lvl sin damage. who knows maybe once i finish set by finding this neckie ill actually be able to kill a warrior (lol)

I'm getting to the same point myself, do I just cut my losses and cash to buy a set, or am I latterly a few more kills away from getting all three pieces drop, either way it’s seriously effecting my levelling

you do realise with the guaranteed drop, the longer you spend there you will eventually get it. If you have spent as long as you say, "cutting your losses" is actually a lot worse, as you will be close to the guaranteed drop where as you will have to spend a lot more time farming cash

That's only relative to the drop number though. Just hypothesising but lets say he's killed 30,000 monsters and the guaranteed drop number is 100,000. Hes one hell of a long way off hitting that number and may find he could raise the cash and buy a set then continue levelling rather than spending another week in RMV which is seriously hampering his levelling.


Not rubbing salt in your wounds but just got a Tainted Bracelet in there too :angel: you're Unlucky by both name and nature it would seem! Guess its another 6-7 hours in RMV tonight then bro :lol you realise if I get the ring my level 33 sin will have a full set before you in a fraction of the time ha ha!

I get raped in RMV at level35 warrior with Defiance!

Tried it out Yesterday, can kill 1-2 maybe 3 at a time but uses my pots like mad. Any tips? E.g what kit to wear to hunt here?

RMV is a tough one as you'll need both AC and MR to hunt here effectively.

IIRC - Dark Arachnids and Apes attack using AC - you'll need an AC of 63 for "Perfect defence"
Spider Bats, Gazers, Venomous Arachnids all use elemental attacks - for these you'll also need 63 MR for "Perfect defence"

Taking into account this is a higher requirement than Black Palace which gives 15,000 exp per kill compared to RMV which gives 420-500 :boxing: #derps

So from the outset that's probably unachievable, instead you can focus on increasing your damage. Quicker kills should mean less damage taken, what's your current DC and attack speed? Have you optimised a specific element that they are weak against to do extra damage, do you hunt with dark stones and any elixirs, have you got a companion? Finally what if any hunt gold buffs do you have active?

All of these things will make a difference as to what you will need to do to hunt there. You may find its pretty unattainable till you reach level 38 for your next armour and your companion has levelled some more.

Depends what the guaranteed drop number is, if its over 100,000 then I'm still a considerable distance from attaining it.

I think it's also to do with gold drops, rmv has a nice gold drop and similar to desert it seems to hurt more than other areas where the mobs are of similar/same level. Taking dark defence seemed to work well with a.c. in there on alpha but was never a fun place for sin with dmg and para mobs

UnluckyXIII has spent again more hours in here than me tonight, clocking up in excess of 40 hours in here this week. We've stopped counting the kills but hes yet to get a single piece of the Vigor set. @Jamie are you able to check individual kill counters vs guaranteed drop rate? If so are you able to at least confirm its working as intended for this character/account?

That is the guaranteed drop kicking in for you. The system is quite good. Yes it's annoying when you don't get any lucky rng and have to farm it to the max but atleast there is a system in place to reward your constant effort and farming.
