Npc in bayna u have to melt down gear and get fragments, it’s safer but takes longer to just refine reset and repeat.

You can click on the npc with fragment box up and it will show you what fragments you will get.

what happens if I try to upgrade a weapon and try and add +5 element to it with master refine and it fails?

If it has zero stats then it will not go minus.

Think it's on verify option on the master refine page. Put all the fragments In before verifying
