Hello all,

I heard bad things about test server changes.
I did not test my self cause only thinking about it make me wanna think if i still wanna play lol.

AC MR will be hermit option for all classes, turning every1 into hybrid mongols running around not dieng in upgraded lvl 3 kits lol, everyone will get to be molten lmao.

Anyway, point is, AC MR should not be so high in MIR, it will ruin everything tbh, disabled all our spells like geo,teleport,pupp,etbeakon, is understandable in KR and floor before KR, but completely ? i will just have to be tanky AC MR wizz and run around like a warrior except of hitting flame sword i use mesh lol

its really weird
please reconsider


totally agree with u hells on that part.. hopefully jamie will reconsider that stupid part for the upcoming patch

That it’s a positive change is personal opinion. Personally I don’t want to see it become a game of Wizard tank with silly defence stats with MS and HP pig on top, Hells can already tank like a boss as is, imagine him bossing around with over 100 MR, HP/Element Pig, Elixirs, Buffs, MS etc etc, lower levels won’t even hit him. Im not against any change but all scenarios need to be considered before implementation, or we’ll end up creating exploits with the altered system.

You realize that most of Hells' damage from his MC? he's not going to sacrifice just his hermit stats because Renounce and Advanced renounce add %MC so he'll lose a **** ton of MC to gain some MR lol... that would be dumb and believe me when I tell you that I'd rather have hells being unkillable while hitting me for 100-200 than hitting me for 400-500 through magic shield.

Its all relative though, we already know element hits hard and with the recent changes thats now stackable again.

Because of the way hermit stats work its possible to stack MR for the first few levels where you gain minimal benefit from direct MC gains and pick back up with these at a higher level where they have more value.

I think Wizards will be able to put together a great tanky build without having to sacrifice a massive amount of damage which will prove really useful in the 45+ areas and may halp somewhat in PvP. Hopefully it will make snow and some of the other areas more viable

Then people should spend more time testing.

Yesterday I was on for quite a few hours and the only other people doing anything of meaningful value in testing this change were Jamie/Shane.

Shane took the time to test the highest level characters in full AC/MR builds and its nowhere near as OP as you'd think. Lower level stuff you can farm easier once you out level the content, but going Goru etc. you'd still die.

The item shop is free on test, go run some builds for yourselves. I've done what I can at my level as I'm only 47 on test server. But doing BT/BP/JP was a lot more manageable on pots/dura, without the change the lower floors of BT would hardly ever be used. Now I have a drawback in going down the MR route, I do less damage, but for item farming in BT that's an acceptable balance to have.

NR, MS, Lair, Banyo etc all still destroyed me, higher levels would have it easier for sure, but its not going to be game breaking at all.

yea ive done abit of testing also recently no one else on the test server at the time but i can vouch you are correct

i was testing elements and defence kit on my sin, had some really cool results that got me thinking a full defensive sin might actually be viable
spent about 30mill on items and tried all kinds of adv kit mixes and hermits defensive, then half defence half element

unfortunatley its just slightly under the level of being viable, i was so close to getting a build that worked after buying superior and refining items but its really not OP like people are saying (from a sin point of view)

too much speculation here from ppl who havent actually tested anything on test server. As much as i believe balancing isnt quite done, there is definatley progress made, the last patch was positive - for the most - even if i do feel like the puppet removal was a bigger nerf than people realize as i use it as a pve mechanic very often on sub floors, but hey getting tired of cries about changes most of the time from Hells who thinks because hes thrown his wallet at the game he should be able to kill you by looking at you, maybe sneezing at most. lol
