The alpha server was a much more fun server imo

not sure why things were suddenly added to the live server with very little thought behind it

who moaned about the cost of item refines to get them negated?

The buffs basically killed thekindread, lost about half of our numbers which weren't large to start with :frown:

This new system has utterly destroyed SleepingDragons. Now THC have no competition for bosses.

IS this fair that I have to kick people that have families? Or Jobs? Or real life issues? If i kick those people, they will quit the game, 100%.

People rely on the higher levels for fun boss hunts and leveling hunts. IF they have no higher levels to hunt with, they will not play the game.

I could easily quit SD and just go in a 10 man guild of people who play 15+ hours a day, but i do not want this. Casual players make the game what it is. They make the guild chat more fun, they contribute a lot on hunts and they seem to enjoy playing so much more than us addicts.

I do not want to hear from THC. You guys have EXACTLY what you wanted. You have a guild of 20 people, without jobs, who play 20 hours a day. Before you comment, my response is, stop been selfish and think of the server.

If you want to hunt with friends family and casuals then you can't aim to have SW. Your high levels recruited to take SW don't run levelling hunts (poker tango) do they?
If you want to be cosy casual family friendly and not dominate the server with numbers you have to have your elite crew getting the bosses and fighting and your hangers on in another guild which you take levelling and fun hunting using discord and the group hunt mode.

Agree that the 20/7 hours people should have some limits. Level caps on some caveS, Level caps on the KR or the KR floor, limit number of players in a KR. Make a boss like FOX boss on mir 2 where the first grp to KR via an npc cannot be interrupted for 10/15/20 mins nd if they haven't killed the boss by then the attacking grp gets tele in

The guild change only really benefitted 1 guild, the core group of THC who where the ones pushing for it.

It was this same core group that turned up for bosses/pk, they only recruited more people in order to try take SW. Once they couldnt do this they cried for their own buff and "adapted" by kicking the people that were not part of their core group anyway.

Any of the other guilds who had more than 30 members, remember not everyone in a guild is on at the same time all the time (unlike THC's core) have since lost people to form 10-20man guilds for the extra exp/drop buffs. These people are no longer able to partake in any bosses, due to THC's core member group already being higher level and better kitted than them anyway so can easily wipe them from bosses.

The only way to compete with people higher level and/or better kitted is to try out number them, but THC/Jamie has done a good job in nerfing that by forcing people to go into smaller guilds in order to try and compete with the extra buffs.

For the self proclaimed "pvp" guild, THC have done a good job of removing any competition. At least previously there was always a fight, some THC would win some they would lose. Most of the time it would be 1-2 SD groups vs the THC core group, rarely this 40v10 **** that keeps getting spouted about.

The only time SD manages to get most of its members together is actually for SW wars, and as people can see when checking back over those results, actual SD members at wars is around 40-50 (less if you remove the chinese players who joined to help).

While we have 80-90 members a lot of them are casuals. We start kicking those from the guild to gain the buffs and they will stop playing all together.

The way LOMCN turned towards the end of the Crystal Era put me off... I still do bits and bobs for the deserving / friends.

To keep it simple, a certain few people put me off sharing.

Rumour has it that it was the WW lot so I'll correct thst straight away.

Yes Jamie was very active on our discord during development - Simple reason. He is still a gamer and spent the majority of time playing games with myself, plusho and a few others.

The only person who had any real influence is Shane.

I can confirm Jamie was quite handy with a VSS!

I dont like this new guild system. We lost 40members of our guild and now only have 20. Its broken our team of friends apart.

30% buff should only be for a newbie guild for accounts under lv45 that all new players are auto added 2.
Normal guilds should be capped at 50 and buffs removed.

Is there any plan to review this as the current change is bollox tbh.... the community feel has pretty much died in our guild, 20+ members left for the 30% buff, those who have remained have lost the motivation to play and several have just out right quit... server morale is at an all time low....

The change should have been:

New Starter Guild - Level 1-45 30/30/30% Buff

Small Guild - 0-15 Members - 15/15/15% Buff
Medium Guild - 16-30 Members - 10/10/10% Buff
Larger Guild - 31-45 Members - 5/5/5% Buff

So there is still a bonus for smaller guilds to help get them going and off the ground but its not game breaking, 30/30/30% is ridiculously high imo and should never have even made it live.

Also, the changes to the guild system would mean Sabuk Wall also needs reviewing as at present there's no real incentive for anyone to even go for it as the buff is worse than staying in a small guild... the only thing I could think of would be a Sabuk Owners Dungeon (NPC Teleport), make it something like BDD from Mir2 which people would actually want to own the Wall to gain access too....

People complained that the server felt like it was a two guild system, the recent change has made the server feel worse not better imo and it needs addressing before its left too long to remedy.

So let me get this straight, you put a patch in that incentivises people to leave big guilds meaning they won’t be welcome back then less than a week later your contemplating removing the buff meaning the people who made these little guilds will now be viewed as deserters with the lurgy.

we kicked loads for that 20% buff, now you will murder us even more, limit guilds to 45 members, that is 3 full groups.
more then enough for any1 to stand a chance in any war.
SD keep harvesting members and asked you for this nerf of buff update, that i agree to but after THC already shrink-ed to 19 members ? lol
we were 63 before patch, doubt we will ever go over 40 again now with all this unpredictable changes ^_^

to put it short, nerf guilds to 45 members, do the buffs change all should be good for every1 to stand a fighting chance at DMW or SW.
