I know you can't get specific numbers but heard a lot of people are starting WoW when it's released

Pre-patch was yesterday, full expansion release on 14th August.

All fairness never played WoW. Not my game.

I quit WoW when the level cap was 85, lost interest. Missed many expansions, dont think I will be returning :P Will be on zircon till its closes its ports.

Not played WoW since WoD expansion. I got so addicted to it at one point in my life, so i vowed to never install ever again. I did notice that Blizzard have decided that you now longer have to buy any of he previous expansions (The Battle Chest) anymore. All you have to do now is buy the latest expansion.

You don't even need the latest expansion now.

You can pay the monthly sub and play all current content including Legion - if you want to play beyond Legion (BfA) you need to buy the xpac.

Pretty much same here. That game has a strange way of strangling the life out of... well, life.

It used to, even at the highest raiding levels now its only a couple of weeks of commitment each tier and then you are done.

After the initial levelling and gearing up I'll likely only play 2-3 nights a week for a couple hours, just to raid.
