Auto Patcher Fixed - Download

After downloading the new patcher i get one or more files failed to download, check error.txt for details, which shows about 5 sound files haven't downloaded, I click okay, then play and it brings up the start of the login screen with attempting to connect to the server. Is this where everyone else is at? and what I should be getting at the moment? and once the server launches will it download the remaining files or have I gone wrong somewhere?

i. Downloaded the full client last night, is there anything else I need to do or am I good to go when live? I’m at work till half 6 so I can’t join discord etc

Just have a look at Kori's post.. you copy over the files from the autopatcher download. Once complete you should be able to get to the gates..

Yes I’ve got that far, but there’s also a new patcher you need to replace the old one with.

I’m confused, the thread title starts: Auto Patcher fixed, so I’ve left my pc downloading through the auto patcher (I live in the sticks so poor connection) but after reading the posts it would seem I have to download the client elsewhere? Is this the case or will the autopatcher content I downloaded from 6am this morning be correct, thanks

Running the client as admin normally fixs problems with files not downloading properly. Also everyone should be at the stage where they at the gates on attempting to connect to server because the gms have made it so u can go further then that untill the set time of 6:30 pm for making accounts and 7:30 when u can log in with your chars

No, its just some people downloaded the client

You will be fine with auto patcher,

Can people who have checked the error.text please post on the discord the files you are missing so we can fix accordingly.

did the autopatcher method, tried to launch but forgot to set Full Screen to False and got black screen (normal for full screen, on first start anyway, usually sorts itself out on subsequent launches in full screen) had hard time to get back to desktop for some reason till I got the idea to press the power button which attempts to shutdown (which I stopped because some file needed to be saved giving me chance to abort) and that got me back to desktop

then tried to launch in windows mode and after some 20 sec patching, got this 'One or more files failed to download' and also the Client.exe vanished so couldn't launch again...

way out was to unpack the small patcher file again and overwrite everything and lo and behold, I am at login screen, server is of course not online so get this 'Attempting to connect' message

ye for some reason even after you get all the correct files , and u try to launch server u get that One or more files failed to download and then u have to re`move the files into the mir folder to make it work again no ideea why happent to me like 2 times already. as for the black screen i was missing direct x or netframe work i think cus now its fine
