Hi class, I am your teacher for today, my name is Dr Strange and I have tbolted more times than youve had school dinners. Im going to explain how to play a wizard as many cry babies have entered the building.
PVP - Please dont cry to your mummas when a warrior uses dash, learn his/her mechanic and use it against him/her. Get use to placing an area effect skill at the end of the dash so the warrior regrets its uncontrolled dash to doom. Use Firewall as a means of defence and attack and a place to recoup...when a warrior/assassin gets to close for comfort cast your flames 2 steps in front of YOU and enter the inferno. If they want to slay you they will have to feel your burn to do so. Please train your eyes to a 2 dimensional view and mastered the art of lightning. It can be very effective to rip a player to shreds when they run into line of sight. Dont rely of Flame Disruptor, use the above spells to be considered great at pvp. Your shield is your life bubble always have it up, no it doesnt mean you should be a Tiger Tank, its a wizards safety net if a melee class gets lucky enough to hit your usain bolt ass.
If in a guild/group fisty cuff scenario...trust me the best thing you can do for your team is use Frost Crunch timely and efficiently...land a white walker blow and the said target will lay in the dust, dragon glassed to the heart, dead and forgotton. If however there are multiple wizard allies then go all guns blazing with multiple Flame Fields to clear the room of foes swiftly. (Warning - casualties could occur)
PVE - To lvl quickly use your running/evasion skills to mass lure and burn/lightning there ass which will out lvl any class on any server for sure. If however your strapped for cash and spend your reality sitting outside Tescos express asking for ppl to buy a Big Issue - cast flames in PB and run rings round the monster until your hearts content. Its a slow process but very cheap and fun to show of to your class mates you so skilful bro.
Thats about all for today folks - please take yourselves off to 2D land and train your new found ways until you have mastered these ways to lvl3. Only then will you be considered a master wizard.
