Class leveling speeds

Hi,

Thinking about giving the server a try this weekend. I don't have much spare time these days. Is wiz the way to go, in terms of leveling speed?

What are the other classes like in terms of leveling?

Shame, if I didn't pick wiz I was going to choose Tao or Archer. Does archer use MC gear?

I have struggled to level my Sin quicker then I leveled my Hunter, I assume it must be later on they switch when Sin is quicker!.

Definitely not one hitting through shield. Archers don't really excel at anything, they are average in PK now and are below average in PVE. Slower than taos as someone has said.

I've been one hit on two occasions through shield at level 38 with 178 HP, though my shield is only level 2.

Curious what damage you hit in PVP?

Play a wiz if you want to lvl fast with no end game.

Play a warrior for a shlog lvl job to 40 with great end game.

Play an archer or sin if you want to remain fun but somewhat squishy.

Also warriors and wizzy's are pretty similar I think, there's actually more warriors in the top10 rankings.

Archers are fun to play imo, weaker pve/pvp than most classes but damage isn't awful.
Electric Shot is good for levelling thankfully now.

I only worry that other classes will be alot stronger the higher level we get. Wiz wont be as quick/fun to level as previous mirs due to mobs not flinching, TS/FF'ing not as simple as before.

Really hoping MetStrike+MagicBooster combo is a decent endgame for wizzies, it was on chronicles but eventually everyone just outscaled them.

MR on here is going to be a problem for every single ranged class too. Every MR is +10% on here. Imagine a warrior lategame with +5MR... scary stuff.

Surely Agility should mimic MR, so we can stand side by side and dodge everyone warrior/sin swing? :triumphant:
