Due to lv.4 skills, the low level books (<50, e.g. greater evil slayer) have become too expensive for new players.
Would you consider selling low level lv.3 books in bookstore?

Yes might be worth looking at adding some of the books to the store, considering that level 4 skills inflated the price to a level of gold above what a lower level player can generate.

Just go and find them it is that simple

Why even bother writing such a trash reply?

hmm, that's a bit double though. BIO / diamonds and some lower skill books sell for enough to make it relatively easy for lower levels to generate a few million (for ores, the ones dropped from zombies 1st/2nd floor you can trade on the AH).

The most subtle solution would be the "everything someone sells in shops gets added to that shops inventory" system. Wouldn't immediately solve the GES issue (that's just raw market power), but the more general one of easy access to lower level items should be fixed.

Then there's the gameplay considerations... Giving lower level players some items / skills they can hunt for, but which will give them some satisfaction when they actually find them, is worth something no?

Adding some books to the store shouldn't change a lot in the economy. Selling books will still be a good source of income because to get lvl 4 and above store books cannot be used. What it will change though is a life of lower level players who will get a chance to obtain the base of the skill. To make it not too easy store books don't have to be extremely cheap either. Then, if we are talking about the top lvl skills such as Asteroid or Seismic Slam of which part prices oscillate between 600mil and 1bill, well, they shouldn't be in the store and dreaming about lvl4 will mostly remain a dream :)

Question: Should any book that comes in parts be in the store? IMHO defo NOT.

Edit:

1000 books for lvl5 seems to me ridiculously steep, the same 500 as for lvl 4 would be absolutely sufficient. Just have a look at how many players have managed to the lvl 4 by adding book by book.

level 4 skills seem really hard to attain are they even worth the cost?

IDK about other skills but my poison and (useless now) skelly got 25% boost. For example, lvl3 psn damage was 8, lvl4 is 10. I know that impact of psn being 2 points higher is marginal but if my Inf will get 25% boost that would be something well worth paying for.
