Any chance you too can sort this out ? was very clear the moment you took his server off Usercount list the UC started to fall fast after this and generally think there was a mistake on one of your end's no way Valk would of botted the LOMCN usercount but not made the one ingame match which would of been pretty simple and the fact it was only displaying between 8-12 more user than was actually ingame and at the time was 170+ online normally.

Sucks people obviously just scroll usercount see Valk at bottom with ? next to it and presume its dead and won't try, it's the best Mir2 server out now by far and it's not getting it's love.


Also agree with what @Tai has said previously to Valk that he should take Advertising more serious maybe buying a banner on lomcn etc. Hope you too can sort it out shame to see this server wittle away the attention to detail in everything including even mats is incredible, you don't see this kind of custom work these days Period.

Totally agree with this post, user count dropped way down lately. This is one of best servers ive played, would be a shame for it to flop because people think its already dead.

Aww once I seen piff and valk uc post so had my popcorn ready for the flame and carnage but that was a nice reasonable post.

+1 as you can feel the servers UC has fallen dunno if this will fix that as you say advertising ect is nowhere to be seen and if you don't browse forums actively now the hype is gone you won't see much posts about it

User count is almost always at its peak at a servers launch; very rarely attracts more players.. more often than not it takes a nose dive.
I don't think its fair to say there is a direct correlation between being removed from the status monitor and the servers user count dropping; Its natural.

It depends, when we occassionally get new people jump on lomcn they will use that UC as an indication to which server they will try out.

Adverts usually don't do a server justice, they lack appeal and usually have dry technical information that most don't care about - adverts need more separation between show casing content and giving technical depth...

Also to scroll through numerous adverts is long and tedious - especially if 20 pages later you find out that the server is dead.

Don't get me wrong, I agree - new players will look at the list and generally try out the more populated servers. However this wouldn't affect the current player base who already login and see the in-game user counts through chat announcements; it would just dissuade other new players from joining based on them not knowing the user count.

I would blame the volume of threads about crashes and downtime playing the bigger part in the UC drop lol.

Seriously though, no one takes that list into much consideration except checking for online status....Arcadia supposedly is the 2nd most populated server, we all know there's probably not even 2 active players on it lol.

The only reason I tried this server, was because of the usercount. That's what told me it's probably a good server. If I saw a ? On usercount I wouldn't have ever found this gem. Hurts the community playing tit for tat, should put the usercount back.

You may stop attracting new players to the server because of the server count not being on lomcn. But thats not the reason for the drop at all.

The reason everyone gave up on the server is the pure lack of interaction from the GM, he promises updates then goes missing for weeks at a time, thats the reason people stopped playing. Not because they couldn't see a user count on this site.

Indeed it's very clear he doesn't have the time to do everything that's required of him, and it's naive to think that a one man band ever could. Is it just greed because he doesn't want to share any of those game$hop sales?

It is 100% not a one man band any server that is advertised with 1 man immediately look the other way. We are a prime example with 3 people and an addition of another later on, we still don't have the time to dedicate as much as we would like to.

I'm sure he could but he would land himself back at square 1 again if he couldn't prove that uc was legitimate which is the problem in the first place. If he just works with Tai and fixes the issue job done.
