Launcher wont load game

Hi,

I've managed to get into the game a handful of times but i do need to keep shutting down and reloading the launcher for this to happen.

It just comes up with a black screen when i tell it to launch.

Theres no error message or anything like that

This ussually happens when some components are missing try installing the DX SDK:

Download DirectX Software Development Kit from Official Microsoft Download Center

This download is the legacy DirectX SDK. It is now end-of-life and should only be used for maintaining older software. For targeting DirectX for Windows 7 or later, use the modern Windows SDK instead.

hey mate, ill give these a go. every other mir server runs first time when clicked just this one doesnt seem to like playing. cant even hear the background music when i click launch. as i say it does work but every now and then.

That is odd, can you perhaps send me the errors.txt in your client folder?

Also what resolution is your screen/desktop?

Think i've worked it out to a point. i have to first click to launch the game then ALT and Enter it to exit full screen mode and then ALT and F4 it to close it then click launch to load it again.

The main login page doesn't remember details (id and password) or the settings option to remember full or windowed mode.

Edit - I don't have an error.txt file. My resolution is 1366x768.

I also have the same issue. Made account today - played an hour - Logged off. Tried to log back in but slightly different. Main screen loads up, i log in and nothing. Doesn't seem to update that i have logged in, so i get no prompt to even launch the game.

Hi guys. Think I have a fix for this. Not sure if you want to add to FAQ or sticky it:

- Check windows for updates. Download and install the large one that became available yesterday.
- Following this update there is a .NET framework update. Download and install.
- Still wouldn't load, so disabled the 'Multiple instances' option from 'Settings' on the launcher

This resulted in the game loading successfully!
