Hello all!

Quick update (wont go into too much detail on everything);

Whats been done
Some old skills have been removed
Some skills have been merged into a progression tree
Some skills have been adjusted on how they work
Some new skills have been added

HarvestMobs have been added
Harvest Mobs require relevant equipment to kill them (AI configured)
Harvest Weapons have progression (higher chance to get better harvest items)
Harvest Items are PLAYERBOUND
Harvest Items (Minerals, Meat, Herbs and Wood) are used for crafting reagents.

Observer System fully in
Observer buff on (while observer is on you get a buff)
Observer only toggled in safe zones

Crafting Inventory Added
Further UI Updates

All Caves now have multiple Codex items built into the cave quest systems
Story Quest line has been started

Tons of backend fixes, optimizations and adjustments (including allowing us to track and manage certain aspects more)

Added Search to your Storage (grays out all but searched items)
More fluid movements between windows (right click storage ect)
Guild is account based not character based
Dynamic Party Windows
Weekly Quests

To Come:

Lookin snazzy.. never been much into Mir 2.. but all these updates makes me wanna try it for the 14th time

Been trying to work on a trailer of sorts for our server but other things keep taking precedence!

Same goes for the discord.

I need to allot time against these tasks to get them done, or else there will always be something above them :D

glad to hear it has auto-battling, really don't have the time to grind hours a day like I used to and oldskool was pretty fun with that system.

will the server be out within the next 3 months or are we still quite far away?

Within 3 months 100%

Will hopefully have the discord open soon as well so people can start seeing more day to day what we do as well!

We're looking at making the above disabled while in Auto Battle.

We want people to actually want to play and invest time in, the Battle system will be used to afk lvl when you aren't around, but when you have time to jump on we want people to still play.

I found in OS, unless I was bossing, I'd just auto battle because it was exactly as efficient as not doing it.

What happened to actually playing the game, working and putting effort in to progress. Might as well just give every one level cap at this point and do away with leveling all together, just have bosses on a constant rotation.

If your content is good enough people will play when your adding systems like auto leveling it says to me content is extremely bland and boring with little to no effort put in to early or mid game.

which could easily be stopped but those are the same people funding your server so you choose not to stop it. lazy money whores is what happened

Stop those who got big wallets playing?
No ppls who cant buy GG but gives Gold in game for GG or Gs items

If all GMs had same ethics then yeah, but what stops the whales rejecting a server in favour of another?

You've not been following what we've been doing or you'd understand we've put a ton of effort into the server from start to finish its custom content.

We put a degree of an auto battle system in because it's what the majority have asked for, but actually playing the game will always be more beneficial.

We do stop anything against our servers rules/code of conduct.

I dont give a monkeys what money we make; I never have.

I am sad now. Auto lvl is such a put off for me. Anything like that just isnt Mir it just isnt and ruins the whole experience . Its next to Bots in the game if you ask me I am sorry if i am getting this wrong (Im not well so havnt got the energy to scrutinise every post) So i quickly browsed the posts

ABattle is also being used for us to test live scenarios for lvling speeds n such.

Ultimately we wanted Auto-Battle as we've had a lot of people asking about it, but it provides negatives (such as you will run out of gold as you dont get items/gold when it's turned on).
- also it can't be used in KRs (and other day restricted/time limited areas)

You aren't immune to PvP either when on auto battle, so it gives some people easy targets :D



The concept may not appeal to you but if you are wanting to play, you would always be playing at an advantage when at your keyboard, its just an additional feature there.

I guess I would say, wait until beta, play it out, feedback to us and we are never shy of changing/altering things :)

I feel like people are miss reading or judging how auto play works. You are not just going to auto play and be able to do what you want to do when you play. what i fount auto play was great for finding a lower level area, pick a zone to farm while semi afk. but as you are semi ask you will not want to use your full kit, as you will be pked, even then most will want what is in your bag regardless of your items as you are autoing. Many players used to go out their way to farm auto afkers. So again while its viable if not done correctly you are better not using. My idea to light would be to limit clients, as many will try to bot or work a way around. i feel limiting this to 2 clients will help. Either limiting rts or a 2 -5sec delay while auto combat is enabled. Very interested to see how server pans out can see you and chris have done many changes. Goodluck

Yeah this is the general idea of how we want it to work; why I'd say to people to try the server and see, if it isn't for you feed that back.

We are limiting clients as best we can :)
