Help Transferring server

Hi everyone,

I've been happily playing on my own Mir 2 server for the past couple of days, thanks to a guide and some help from the community. I'm thrilled with how it's turned out! Since I have a regional job and am on the road four days a week, I'm considering installing the server on my laptop.

Does anyone know which files I would need to transfer to keep it exactly the same with my characters? Or would it be easier to convert my solo server to an online one, leave my PC on at home, and connect via the internet? just i wouldn't be able to reset server if something went wrong while i was away.

I assume you’re using crystal?

If you’re making changes to the database then it may be easier to run the server and client from your client as you can do this offline whilst you’re on the road.

If you want to transfer your accounts, you’ll want to copy the ADB file and your envir folder. Easier to copy it all.

Its self contained, portable. simply copy it to laptop as Jev says. Rar or zip it up for the transfer via some USB medium, it compresses quite a bit.
