Never played any of your servers and your post isn't promising! But after a quick search on marble and sapphire, GG Egyptian servers lol.
Launch date chosen because tax/financial year? Could you defer for a month rather than compete with existing nostalgia server. The user base might not be that much of an overlap. Throwing money at it isnt quite the same as that other server. Great to see no assassins or other complications that make balance an unattainable holy grail.

does the marketplace have similar mechanics to black desert online marketplace? Like GM set the min/max price for the items to control the economy

After discussions on discord, there are few things I had over looked, such as a group getting a rare item and wanting to split. as such, Trading will be in the game in its original functionality

I spent a bit on the last server, £50-60 quid in the first month as it was so well made and very busy.
Went away for the weekend, logged back on and there was only like 2 people in safezone lmao.
Still to this day don't really know what happened, but it was fun for a bit.
Will probably give it a go for a little while tbf but I'll be cautious about spending anything.

Its a VERY smart gameshop on this server. 1£ a for 24hour buff sounds really good on paper but when you look into it a little bit more its still going to be a very expensive server for anyone who wants to play and compete at the top.
Exp rate - 1£
Drop rate - 1£
Quest rate - 1£
Auto hunt - 1£
Thats 4£ every 24hours (most people will be botting when not playing), so even 4£ every other day works out at around 10£ per week per char you play.
You can log 6? (possibly more) chars per account at the same time . So even if you were conservative and had 1 main char and 2 alt bot farmers you are still looking at 30£ per week, 120£ per month for the BARE minimum.
Throw in the stat boost torch , the inventory expansions, quest slot expansion and your monthly outgoing is sneaking up further and further.
Rather than look at the cheap pricing and think ''oooooo cheap server'' , look at it from a bigger perspective and you'll see that this server is the one intended to make bank!
