I really really wish people would stop using these shitty mobs with dodgy shadows, or lack of shadows....
With the amount of assets available to the community now i would've thought we could of had a server running with item/maps and mobs that suit the art style of mir and not just ripped shadowless, and ghastly rainbow coloured wings.
Cool a resized Oma King.. but... erm, will i be standing under his foot? Bigger isn't always better.

You’ve misunderstood what you’re seeing.
The large HD Oma King is actually a paid asset I purchased, not a random resized rip.
I’ve already corrected its scaling in-game.
As for the shadows:
Some monsters simply do not come with default shadows, So the client now drawing shadow for monsters have no shadow at all.
You’re talking about “effort and time” like you actually understand what went into this.
If you’re this confident about how easy it is, nothing’s stopping you from opening your own server and showing everyone how it’s done.
Until then, I’ll keep upgrading server with real work, you can stick to empty comments

Strange comment to hear from a moderator, to be honest, Singling out ‘Egyptian servers’ isn’t exactly a great look especially coming from a moderator.
Launching my server has nothing to do with any other server, Egyptian or otherwise.
I think it’s the fact as most the servers which are Egyptian servers launch they are mostly cash grabs.
Here’s a list of what’s to be expected in Egyptian cash cow servers
1. Exp pots, drop pots etc standard in most servers now a days.
2. Exp pads, drop pads, mounts etc.
3. Quest pots…. - why anyone introduced these is beyond me, oh let’s make quests with 10k mobs and make them spend extra money just for more profits.
4. Some servers reroll mechanics paying with GG (again not saying it’s in your server, but has been in may before)
5. GMS selling items on the side, (again not saying you do this but has been done multiple times by others)
6. Allowing gold sellers and levelers like it’s going out of fashion, not many servers are actually going out their way to try prevent this to bring it back to when it was fun to play mir, now it’s just a rush to highest content. (Many methods could be applied to stop this just people don’t bother)
Does any of this make you realise why people are getting bored of these pump and dump servers now?
The fact most people don’t understand you could make an effective server with little amounts in a Gameshop and lower rates and add simple things like a subscription to the game will earn you more over a period of time rather than a massive influx initially.

If people were getting bored of them they wouldn't keep popping up every few months. Obviously these only get made because theres money in it. Someone must be enjoying them.
Every time I open a server, the same group shows up with the same negative comments.
Is it because I’m not the GM you personally prefer? And even if that’s the case, what exactly is the “perfect GM” you want?
Someone who never opens a server? Someone who gives you everything for free with no content and no shop?
I actually spend real time building systems, content, and features, not just copy-pasting the same server every year.
Every server I open has new ideas, new systems, and features that haven’t been done before, like Nobility, Heroes League, and many others.
As for “opening a server every year”:
Do any of you stay long enough for a server to keep going?
I continue updating every server until the very last player leaves. I don’t stop because I’m bored but I stop because the community itself moves on.
I’d also like to add another point: even the servers run by the GMs you prefer end up getting abandoned. The moment a new server launches, many of you jump over to the new one. That’s actually what kills most servers, not Egypt, not specific communities but the constant hopping from one fresh server to another.
Of course, not everyone does this, but let’s be honest: around 90% of the Mir community does exactly that. The remaining 10% only start to lose interest once the other 90% leave… and then they also quit. And that cycle keeps repeating
Thanks a lot, really appreciate the positive comment, especially since you’re not even planning to play right now. It means a lot that you still noticed the new work and the fresh ideas added to the game.
Anyway, thank you again. I hope when the full advertisement is out, you might change your mind, and hopefully I’ll see you in-game. The video doesn’t show everything not even 10% of content - features added, there’s plenty more content coming soon!

That’s exactly the point, But for me it’s not just “money.” I keep rebuilding, adding new ideas, new systems, and new content every time. I put a lot of work into each server, and people wouldn’t play if there wasn’t something worth trying.
Players decide the direction of the community. If people want stable long-term servers, they need to support them instead of leaving as soon as a new one opens.
I'd argue that anybody willing to put up a server and deal with the mir community without a money incentive probably needs their head examining. I agree with Far, people clearly enjoy this "water", and in my opinion will likely continue choosing it over any other upcoming beverage choices
If you really cared about “removing gold sellers and levelers,” you’d start by stopping the behavior you’ve been known for yourself.
If anything, I’d be happier having a server with a few gold sellers and levelers as long as it has zero cheaters.
Let’s be honest, the problem isn’t the game shop or RMT. The problem is players who complain about these things while being the first to buy gold, pay levelers, and support RMT behind the scenes. As long as people keep paying, those markets will always exist.
So before challenging me to “put my money where my mouth is,” maybe start with the players who actually create the demand.

True, dealing with the MIR community can be chaos sometimes, especially with how fast people jump from server to server.
Simple, I’m not going to spend time, effort, and hard work on a server with zero return.
I don’t force anyone to play and I don’t force anyone to spend money.
People play if they’re enjoying themselves, and they spend if they feel the game is worth it
