Mir 5 Server Binary Leak

I haven't managed to get this fully downloaded before posting this but @1PKRyan has found two seperate mir 5 server build download links.

Will be interesting to see if these are real, not much can be down without a client but it'd be funny to see an official leak before a beta test.

The server structure is very similar to mir 4 so who knows.

They was forwarded in a Discord server i am in, so credit to the forwarder and whoever posted them originally.

Had a look at some of the IPs left in the DevServerList and those IPs are coming back to the same ISP that wemade uses for their mir 4 servers.

Well Mir 3 Didn't kill Mir 2, not really sure if thats the correct way of looking at it.

The Topaz project is still ongoing.

This server leak wont do much, it's very incomplete with no source files.

Well Mir 3 Didn't kill Mir 2, not really sure if thats the correct way of looking at it.

Wasnt Mir 3 basically Mir 2 : Evils Illusion that was meant to come after 1.4

We were in contact with someone from the team that executed the 2019 leak, he was willing to give us the svns for both,

But felt the deal was one sided and left (we offered to send back the Mir 4 source when fully completed).

I imagine they’ll be out there somewhere. I still have some photos of the files so later down the line I’ll try researching the net for a filename match on some file upload site or public ftp server.

I’m not sure how complete the svns would be if say we found them in 5 years. Compared to the original leak. Talking nearly 2tb of Mir 2/3 assets/code/documentation

From what I know, this person really does possess Mir 2/3 files from every period, apparently going all the way up to 2021, and that seems to be true.

The guy who contacted me said he ended up getting a license to run the servers if he didn’t leak the files. Very much doubt that being credible.

i know who you talk about. Hes Chinese i been talking to him over 3 years since his Mir 2 server launched back in days
I doubt that he got license from Wemade.

I wouldn’t pay money, the amount of people I’ve seen get scammed over the last 3 years is upsetting. We obviously know he has the files but I wouldn’t risk your money

I have a question. From this pic, we can see how the official servers are structured. Without the source code, would it be possible to get everything running on a single machine, without using virtual machines?

Of course, use on such a small scale it’s easier for us to have everything intergrated together but for a company the size of wemade it makes sense to split these servers up to help. After all, they’ll have different people working on different servers.

We don’t have them but it’s been confirmed the entire build of the Mir 5 servers has leaked. Be interesting to see if it’ll ever surface.

Must be very embarrassing for wemade to have another catastrophic leak.
