Sorry for late reply on this one, been immersed into the game updating...

Not going to lie, but Lost Ark offers much more than this game, content wise. This game is more like a.. niche type for those who watch/enjoy anime and like to play these types of games. That doesn't mean that anyone who doesn't shouldn't try it, it's more like - it will be difficult to get into it and enjoy the lore and the concept otherwise.

It is fairly heavy on it's, I would even say, fairly unique lore - you are playing as an academy student and the story goes as a fantasy anime would - something happens and you deep deeper in to find the root cause.

It is visually appealing for the same reason as well and the characters are unique. Gameplay is fairly sterotypical for MMORPG of such kind.

If I had to say an interesting thing about this game - you get a room in the dormitory and you can decorate your own way, craft furniture and such, which I personally haven't seen in many MMORPGs (apart of the Guild Houses and such).

Not trying to contradict myself here, but if you have any interest of attempting to try it - definitely give it a go, there is nothing to lose

We are thinking to open it close to Asia as well, that Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Koreans and Taiwanese players will be able to have their own dedicated channel(s) and play without a high ping.
