Ashen Throne is a free-to-play, top-down action MMORPG with Warrior, Wizard, and Taoist classes, combo combat, bosses, crafting, and guild wars for Bloodsteel.
A free-to-play, top-down action MMORPG with classic, positional real-time PvP. Fight as Warrior, Wizard, or Taoist, chaining debuffs into bonus-damage combos. Hunt bosses, craft and enhance gear, then wage guild war for valleys and the throne.
I meant no offence by calling it reskinned btw, i simply meant my guess was its based off existing mir server files. And now its clicked that this is the same game Hany has been showing progress for, I was right.
Monetization will be based around Transmogs & Battle passes.
- Battle passes: quality of life faster gathering and questing, remote salvage selling etc
- Transmogs: Various Re-textured armours, helmets, wings,glows etc
You can play the game from level 1 to max level and be on the same level/better than others without having to pay, We'll be going live with 2 servers (eg Dragon/Phoenix), as we have introduced/implemented cross server wars and activities, so having 2 servers up competing aganist each other is part of the design and P2W would ruin this.

I’d say it’s more alpha state. The mobile was a first version and 100% not finished or even ready in all honesty but some people was prepared to help test and we’ve done some huge improvements for the next update coming within next couple days.
This is why we haven’t advertised or announced it anywhere because it was/is still an early build but we’re cracking through changes and improvements at an insane rate.
Our goal is to release in Oct/Nov but we equally won’t rush an unfinished product so if we have to push back we will.
@Far its meant to feel like Mir but updated and 3d models and ye it is what hany has been posted not hard to put 2 and 2 together but if anyone has followed hany it’s changed dramatically from a mir2 server to its actual game with its own unique assets. All our monsters and players/armours/swords etc are our own made assets.
I’m sure I’ll get lots of troll comments but genuinely our model is to no p2w. I’m so sick of playing games and having to swipe to play, I’ve had enough and it’s a big reason I started this project with Hany
Our goal as Hany said is a few monthly passes that give a few convenient features that speed up things or make life for a more casual player easier. We want people to have a life not feel they have to play 24/7. Log on play enjoy then log off.
We have features like auto play for that casual and mobile friendly experience. (Currently no limit but we may lock unlimited time behind a pass, purely to stop bots)
Offline mode where your character gains exp and drops as if it were hunting ingame (a pass extends this time)
The other passes will be for speeding up gathering time, making it quests count +4 instead of +1 making daily quest activities etc faster to complete
The other monetisation is around cosmetics because we make our own assets.
This project is made out of love for gaming and hating how the gaming industry has just become predatory feeding of our desires and addictions making us spend loads of money and regretting it later.
We hope everyone will be open minded and give it a try, we’d love to hear people’s feedback
