I just bought an mp3 of my mate (1gb) its mpman and i plug it into my pc and it charges but i cant seem to find the folder on my pc that i use to transfer songs across

Also when i plug it in i get a box at the bottom that says mtp media player then it offers me to open with winamp take no action and another option says using <need provider> I really dont know anything about this anyone wanna help

Can't you just go to C:/ your external hard drive (your MP which should have the name of it) and open that folder?...

Sorry if im way off.

Nope i tryed that i went on device manager and i found it there but i cant find the folder to add music to it just the info that shows it is connected

with mpman i think you need a cd which has a special program to add songs on to it.

This method should work.

If you use limewire to download songs, then you can access these songs by :

My Computer > (C: ) > Documents & Settings > Your User Name > Shared

This works for me when sending songs to my phone and over msn.

This method should work.

My Computer > (C: ) > Documents & Settings > Your User Name > Shared

This works for me when sending songs to my phone and over msn.

im prity sure he knows how to download and find his songs, that wasnt his question at all.

Yes, but i think you havnt caught on. What im saying is, when i go into that file when putting songs onto my phone, it lets me put each song on individualy, so maybe this would work. It was just a suggestion.

He hasn't asked anything about LimeWire, nor did he ask where to find the songs he has supposidly downloaded via LimeWire.
