decent pc games? where are you?!

since i lost about 20 of my downloaded games, im after getting some more. but tbh i cant think of any.

i like fps, adventure, and rpg mainly, but anything apart from sport games will do.

plz dont mention...

f.e.a.r or half life 2, since iv already had those and completed.

just downloaded quake 4 and quite enjoying it so far.

new games with good graphics preferred, but older games more than welcome.

i like console converted games like MGS2 and Devil may cry 3, but cant think of anymore.

Well i've just got BF 2142 and it's pretty darn good - i like it much better than BF 2 (if you've played Bf 2 and liked it then i'd deffinitely recommend BF 2142)

BF2 is ok, the helpicopters and other veichles are good but its hard to aim properly when moving which is really annoying :P

You could download the demo - thats got online with one map and no "single player".

Technically it doesn't actually have a proper single player, just offline games - no missions etc.

If you wanted to get it i think you'd probably have to buy it - i'm not that sure but i dont think that you can just download it, although now i think about it they don't actually check the key after it's been installed, hmmm...

iv read that battlefield has some spyware crap built into it which gets your details etc.. apparently a way to make sure your using an official copy.

with battlefield, do you have to create an account? or does one get supplied with the game? like steam does.

if u make one, theres tons of battlefield cracks around so i shld still b able to get online.

2142 is a good game, just been playing it singleplay atm because i cant seem to get a list of servers when i run it through sockscap.

Theres always oblivion which is a good game.

To be quite honest PC games have been a bit of a let down for me this year for some reason.

i have 2142 downloaded it this morning and u can only play it offline like doing skirmishes it is ment to be played online to unlock stuff and u need to have a valid EA games account which is from the CD key because u have to verify the cd key aswell.

im sure theres a way to get a cd key for bf, games like quake and prey ask u for a cd key and check it online, but theres a way to get round those.

Edit: Just found out its out tomorrow in gamestation, and Fifa 07 and another game, cant rember which one though. Something to do with them messing up the release dates though, for anyone that wanted to know :P
