I played lifcos starlite 1.9, one of the best servers i ever played. Was one of the most popular at one point. Average usercount of 30+.
When using server files, lifco is one who knows alot.
He may not spam out lomcn, but that doesnt mean hes not one to be respected.

Lol, thats because you werent around for the first year of LOMCN when I was one of the people that provided 75% of the help to all the newbies who came here and knew nothing.
I never had the most popular server ill admit, but mine was far more interactive than the rest. I wasn't one of those tard GM's who just stood in town in mega stat gear doing nothing all day.
I was made a supermoderator within 4 weeks of joining this forum purely because my server was good and I knew what I was doing. Eventually thoug I got sick of helping people, partly because the Help i was giving out enabled hundreds of asshats to open their own version of aplhafrozen and rape the community of its individuality.

Heres a better idea, what about a rule thats means if your a ****ing moron you can't post either. That way this thread will die in seconds and the only people capable of winning would be the ones who are disqualified, meaning this comeptition would be as **** as your posts.

People back then needed the same amount of help as people do now. Except back then people needed help with situations that were "new" to everyone. Such as me and IAMDEATH devising and writing the method of getting the files to work with a router.
95% of the community back then knew how to add an entry to a database, and configure the files with very little help. Those that figured stuff out on their own soon figured out new things as well. These people went on to further develop the files. Then there were the people that needed help learning the basics, but most learnt fast and were able to run and operate a server.
Occasionally you got some arse that couldn't even follow a basic guide and needed a step by step walkthrough on MSN for every single part of the guide, and at that time I was stupid, and kind enough to actually sit on MSN and help these people get somewhere. Then word got out that I did this for people, and I would be sat every night helping some moron type words on their computer, basically reading from ther guides me and other people had written to them.
Eventually I snapped and gave up, and thats when i became the ******* I am today. Although I do very very occasionally get some random guy asking me for router help on MSN, and I do help them, because anyone thats got hold of me for a router guide has obviously done extensive searching. Although they missed that "crystal server router guide" guide which is 100% my writing with some screenshots thrown in and 0 crdit given. I still think that **** should be renamed as my work, because the screenshots are useless as they only work like that on a linksys router.
Infact im off to complain about that right now.
