It is sad to say but is pretty much true. The once ever populated Mir community as now almost died

Its a shame to see Mir servers with populations of 0-100 at peak Only 2 btw had a server count of like 70-100 and a disgrace for anyone to have servers open with 0 population

What happened to all those Players!! Are you guys on The Xbox Live, Maybe Your on Another MMORPG, Maybe Euro Mir or maybe your just off games completely I would like to know!

Come on Leave a Post with date u started mir whether it was mir2 beta to present day, ur char name lvl is not essential And exactly Wot ur all up to nowadays...

Lol, that was when MentaL flooded the forum, nothing to do with the user population... the forum has plenty of active users.

The MMORPG market is multiplied by thousands since big league game manufacturers have invested into the idea, as such you can't expect a small 2d MMORPG to be able to keep up. Markets move and shift all the time, the multiplayer one has come on leaps and bounds in the past few years... heck, even the rl virtual trading market makes BILLIONS of dollars every year.

People have moved on to bigger games with more features and better support, and the private server players have moved to bigger, better private servers.

There are still a few old timers around, myself being one of them... I was making and administrating private mir servers before LOMCN was made. We're few and thin but we're here.

Nowadays I'm doing it again, but I also host a higher traffic game.

Hmmm... maybe he's suggesting the old players have moved on to play games with a higher market share ;)

makes perfect sense to me

August 2002 was when the first mir files were leaked to a closed group
November 2002 was when mir-resource.co.uk was made
March 2003 was when lomcn domain was bought, not sure about pre-domain omcn

WHAT HAVE MIR PLAYERS FROM 4 ODD ISH YEARS DONE WITH THEMSELVES TODAY

I woke at approximately 8:37am
I pulled the blanket back, got out of bed, putting my left foot on the floor before my right. I then proceeded to open the door, by turning te door handle clockwise, and it released.

I exited the room, and went down the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs I made a U-turn, and ended up walking towards the living room door. I opened the door, this time by pulling a handle down, and then proceeded to open the kitchen door from there. It should be noted the kitched door wasnt fully closed, so it was opened with your basic pulling motion.

Once in the kitchen I proceeded to boil the kettle, this was acheived by pushing the "I" part of the switch as oppose to pushing the "O" section which would have resulted in it switching off. While the kettle boiled I washed the dishes from the night before. There were 7 cups and 3 players as well as various cutlery. I stacked each item in the dishrack to let it drip dry, and used a tea-towel to dry my own hands.

I then used boiling water from the kettle, a teabag, milk, and 2 sugars to make a cup of tea, which I left on the side while I went to the bathroom to piss. To do this I exited the Kitchen into the living room, and returned to the base of ths stairs using the reverse of the aforementioned route. This enabled me access to the toilet, I then proceeded to open the button on my boxershorts to give my penis a clear shot at the toilet itself.

At this point ill stop. But seeing as we have tried everything else, and you havent been satisifed with the answers I guess this is what you wanted. For me to regale you with tales of my penis being loose.

People from mir 4 years ago are doing hundreds of thousands of different things, but one thing they aren't doing is asking retarded questions that they wont accept answers to.

It was probably a DDoS attack. Not actual users.

Don't know how many people can play runescape.

Saying that, didn't think WoW, was so popular.
