Yeah i agree 100% most people will overstep it now and then but take their foot off the pedal, my dad was seriously pissed off that he got his 18 years no claims ****ed up coz of 3 mph lol

My g/f got flashed in london for 33mph on her pass plus. She got away with it...

Got caught speeding by a copper, but he had no proof i was speeding. They normally give you producers that you have to take to cop station but he just let me off with it.
On the note of speed cameras, it is the legal limit to let you off with 10%. It will still flash, you may still get a ticket, but you can talk to them and they will let you off, or most of time do.
When i first got a ped, i was told that police are a lot more strict with ped's than they are cars... but i ride faster than 30 90% of the time (Only to stay at speed with the car in front or over take if they are a sunday driver). Never been pulled for this or any other offence.

10% is the margin of error, but thats usually only to make up for the possible difference in speedometers, and liek stone said, the concept of controlling speed exactly is impossible.
So going at 33 and having a speedometer that is slightly inaccurate could be why he got the ticket.

Yeh, you dont lose no claims on a speeding ticket.. cos you dont actually claim on the insurance.

2f2f: you say "if you tell them" - i wouldn't advise not telling them as if you ever claim, they will check your honesty, and will refuse to payout if you neglect to tell them.
Insurance companies will do whatever they can to NOT pay out.

i think i got flashed by a unmarkd car like not a police car 1. was a tiny flash like a mobile fone flash i think it mita jsut been ma lights reflecting off sumthing but gna lay low a while to see if i get a letter, was doing like 45-50 in a 30, my m8 directly behind me

Why would you do that? its a 30 fgs, its 30 for a reason moron.
I hope you do get caught by a camera, get your 3 points (your only able to get a total of 6 for the first 3 years of driving) and the accomanying £60 fine. maybe it will stop you being a ****ing moron on the road. Maybe you'll even get caught driving frunk and lose your license entirely and get a years ban. or a 2nd set of 3 poitns to also lose your license. Go for it!

My mate was the best driver i had seen, he was 21, been driving just a month or so after turning 17. and was genreally a gd driver. He's now dead, from a car crash, and his g/f also who was in the passenger seat. If i was you, id stop driving silly, its certainly made me drive careful.

Saying that though DF, the prom from old colwyn to llandudno is 30 when really its safe to drive at around 45. However i agree that doing that amount of speed in a built up area is asking for trouble.

As skyline said, your leaving yourself wide open to flaming. It was a bit of an understatement, becuase with the above information to reference, you didnt just leave yourself wide open to flaming, you actually handed out flamethrowers, matches, several gallons of petrol, and stuck some dynamite in your ass for good measure.
This ladies and gentlemen is whats known as hypocrisy. Someone who claims speeding on DCW (dual carriage ways) at night isnt stupid, someone who says going 100MPH+ isnt stupid, someone who claims doing those just days after your test isnt stupid.
Well this person who is the obvious decision maker on whats stupid, and what isnt, clearly stated 3 times, that speeding in a 30MPH zone is stupid. Yet he stupdily posted a wonderful tale of 45-50mph in a 30mph zone. He must be really smart, I bet you have a college education.
Seriously, I hope you slam into a wall at 100MPH, and your airbags are faulty, causing you to partially swallow them seconds before they inflate and blow your windpipe out the rear windscreen.
