13 minors on mine but passed first time. Ive been driving almost 3 years now :/ I even have a no claims bonus lol. If you havent been out in the car yet then be forewarned: its a realyl weird and strange feeling the first time you go out in a car on your own, or at least it was for me, because you don't have someone in the car with you commenting on what your doing etc.

it's not just you, my great aunty had to strap a giant teddybear in the seat next to her to make it seem like the instructor was there.

Driving at 100 isnt cool, or clever. The thing people who drive like idiots fail to realise is what I call "The double retard rule" 2 retards on the same stretch of road is a receipe for distaster. For example if two idiots are traffic jumping (over taking constantly at speed) and going in opposite directions, and pull out at the same time to oivertake, thats a probable 4 car collision.

Doing 70mph in a 60mph zone is ok, doing 80mph on a motorway at 3am in the morning when its practically empty, fine. But doing 100mph on a dual carriage way at night on the day after your test is stupid. Also, about your licence, going 100mph while you still have only 6 points on your liscence = goodbye driving for about 6-12 months, and hello costs for a retest.

If i was you... i wouldnt do 100 in 4th lol.

Whats the BHP do you know? mines 1.4i twincam 16v, 105bhp and i could prolly get it to 130.

edit: a 1991 1.6i astra has 100bhp and max speed of 118mph

Next time your doing your cool 100mph, consider the consequence if a car with a young child pulled out infront of you, and you couldn't stop. Could you live with the guilt of knowing you killed someone?

My parents have the same astra, you can push to 130+ if you give it enough time, electronic fuel injection so you can get it chipped, will be super fast but voids your insurance.

I have a crappy fiesta that groans at 80 ^^
