i live in Kidderminster which is approximately 25-40 mins drive from Birmingham.

Sorry to say but when I went to Birmingham on numerous occasions.. it looked like it was stuck 30 years behind everyone else. Everything looked run down and well.. a complete ****-hole

Although there was like.. a few nice built up area's but most of it seemed.. derelict and... loads of small shops everywhere.. like the woolworths i saw looked like the sign hadn't been changed or shop done up since 1960's

I drove near birmingham once, there was a sign pointing to the NEC indoor arena. I then proceeded through kidderminster and spat out the window. As I previously told Kud on MSN.

I also spat in Liverpool, and to this day, I still dont understand what the **** the "Gyratory" in Liverpool is, I had directions that referenced it, but never saw it, and kinda ended up on the right road out of there anyway (was coming home from the docks at birkenhead)
