Ok, due to the fact my computer is ****ed, I seriously have to look at buying a new one now. My ram has been salvaged and can be re-used. my graphics card is AGP so it is now outdated.

Here's the list of what I need, and hopefully some eagle eyed LOMCN guys can point me to cheap products and good recommendations:

Decent motherboard (PCI-e obviously) Obtained
AMD Athlon 64 processor( 3200 rated or higher) Obtained
PCI-E graphics card (Im prefferential towards the Geforce series)
Decent peformance hard-drive (dont need masses of space so no more than 100gb)
Decent PSU capable of running the above, plus my soundcard, DVD drives, etc etc.

Ive got about £200 to spend, but can stretch marginly higher if its worth it.

Thanks guys.

Bargin basement

the bargain basement on that web site never steers me wrong for a bargain or two

I hate to say it... but avoid Aria for the next few weeks.
I work for them and we've just installed a new system - it's a huge pile of ****.
Well, no, that's not technically true. It's just the numpties in the warehouse are having trouble getting to grips with it, so your order will take aggiiess to arrive.

If any of you live in manchester and are after something specific I can give you a quote that'll be a little cheaper.... [email protected] :)

Can you get me some stuff cheaper from there and post it to me?Im pretty sure the £14 they want to charge me for delivery is overpriced.

That sounds right if it's multi parcels.

The problem is that for me to buy things I have to put everything onto my account, so my name and address is all over the place - bad for the warranty for you and i'd just rather not do it :tongue1:

Why did you offer to do it, then say you don't want to do it?

I said to anyone who's in Manchester, where the shop is.

I also said i'd do a quote, not buy the goods.

Are you having trouble reading?
