Lance corp, corporal, sergeant, staff sergeant, company sergeant major (csm), regimental sergeant major (rsm), then it goes into proper army shit leading to field marshal.

I went to army cadets, I owned that shit up... can still remember quite a bit of the training. I remember going on loads of camps and shit, and an annual one which was like a week... and we did a battle camp where i froze my fucking bollocks off, was all good fun-ish though.

And I "broke" some girls arm using judo to get out of a standard wrist lock because she wouldn't fucking
let go. Pile of shit that was, the bloke was like "would you go home and hit your mother" and I was like "she's dead" then it was funny cause everyone was like OMFG and he got really upset, and then to finish it off I was like "and I didn't hit her" and showed him what I did, and he was like "wtf, why she *****ing then". But she was just a stupid fat heffer who craves attention. Srsly, breaking her arm by using the thumb as the weak point of the hand and applying pressure in that direction to break out of a wrist lock, yeah, logical.

Where we were were you had like a half star then a full star or some cack. Was cool though, could be all like "fuck you ***** I am higher rank" although I could never be fucked to brown-nose and earn stuff cause I used to go for the social aspect, so I just had loads of kids trying to tell me what to do and I'd tell them to fuck off. Then the adults with tashes would be like "YOU HAVE TO ANSWER TO YOUR SUPERIORS" and i'd be like "yes sir :(" then they'd leave and i'd be like "yeaaa fuck off".

That's army ranks, we're talking cadets here (I did then lead on saying it follows offical army ranks from there)

This thread is about the military son. Not the Navy.

Field Marshal is the highest military rank of the United Kingdom. The Queen does not have a military rank.

Lose.

the navy is military would help if you looked that up, also the highest ranks are field marshal, marshall of the royal air force, admiral of the fleet.

the queens rank is lord high admiral and the duke of edinburgh is admiral of the fleet.
These both control all 3 tri services seriously learn something before u start shouting ur mouth off.

Look this up, *****.

Meaning of the word

Also see: Armed forces
As an adjective, "military" is a descriptive property of things related to soldiers and warfare. It also refers to such context dependent terms such as military reserves which may indicate an actual unit deployable on command or the general sense, of a Nation States reserve troops available to or eligible for duty in its armed forces.

In formal British English, "military" as an adjective sometimes refers more particularly to matters relating to an army (land forces), as opposed to the naval and air force matters of the other two services.

It's only become loose in it's meaning through the last few years as people have tried to use it as a term for all the different forces within our nation, the formal meaning still stands.

And what the **** are you on about? Admiral is a senior rank of the Royal Navy, not the armed forces. A ****ing pre-schooler knows that.

The ranks of the military lead to Field Marshall, the queen's rank is not inclusive because it is unreachable by anyone detached from the royal blood line. That's like saying "the CEO of a company technically isn't the highest rank in the company as you could be prime minister of the country and have control over all business within your boarders". Not only is it a completely different profession, but it's completely stupid logic.

I did check my information before I spouted off, maybe you should have thought before you replied making yourself look retarded. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Field_Marshal_(UK) who needs to learn **** now? "Field Marshal is the highest military rank of the United Kingdom". HIGHEST MILITARY RANK, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP.
