i believe last week was the worst of the rain i got here, i drove past a bloke in an mg/rover thingy that was pretty much floating away after he broke down in a huge ass puddle
and had to drive along the path to avoid the water on the road
local rivers weren't as bad as that though.

Really bad here now, the rivers have over flowed, got sent home fro mwork due to traffic. loads of roads closed, police all over, places even setting on fire!!

God knows how, but theres been two buildings that ive seen on m yway home, on fire, quite big fires too.
Strange, considering the amount of rain!
storms can knock down power lines and do all sorts of damage + rain isnt concentrated in 1 place on 1 building so its not gna put a fire out on its own :/

you cant complain about a flood unless you were in carlisle in 2005

i only wish i could take the credit but im not a pyromaniac. all i can say is insurance job. very suspect how the club burns down just as with only weeks to spare till the smoking ban and they didn't have anywhere for people to go outside for a smoke without them leaving the club pthh probably rebuild it with a balcony, slick huh.
only Orleans or New Orleans can really complain bout flood, that state is as big as britain and got flooded
that place was a crap hole at the best of times BUT its big it could work just limited access
May not be as bad as some floods, but its bad enough
