I am looking to get some 6x9's for my Corsa Shape C. I remember someone telling me that the vauxhall default ones are mostly better then shelf speakers that you buy. My current speakers are fitted into the back of my car not the shelfs.

I am looking for some with neons on it. Thinking maybe:

Are they any good, and would they be better then my vauxhall standards?.

are your rear windows tinted?

would u say these have more steal appeal to thiefs? i say yes.

personally id go for something without the neons and put them in the front of the car.

Yes, my area is prone to theifs aswell that's what i was thinking. But the lights switch off so it shouldn't be too eye catching. I am sending my CD player back as it seems to be faulty, keeps blowing fuses when the volume is turned above 20 (which isn't even too loud).

as long as the neon can be turned off, cover them up with a flag or w/e accross shelf or tint windows,

and make sure the cd players power is capable of running the 6x9's

btw you got an amp or sub or ne other speakers or thinking bout getting sum?

Does anyone have any idea why my head unit would be blowing my fuses every time i turn it above 20 (which isn't even ultra loud). My m8 has same head unit, and its fine.

See, that's what i was thinking. As i think it occured when i pulled the back 'metal' cage off to fit the cd player. Maybe something was attached to that? is that possible?.

possibly, or mayb its shorting out on the cage. (Mine did it when i was putting it back in once :( )
