Help with my JOB server.

Hello, can someone please help me with my server ive put a screenie on what the problem is. on the EI server it stops on starttimer exception and says not ready 127.0.0.1

the old prob something is wrong in ur mapinfo.txt or in ur map folder.

so u have a map inside mapinfo.txt but in real it isnt in ur mapfolder. look for it and u find the error open ur mapinfo.txt look first map (should be 0) and look if u have it in ur mapfolder and so on till u found the one map that isnt in ur mapfolder. clear the entrie and start server again.

starttimer exception is usually down to an IP not being correct or the the server name not being shown correctly in a certain area.

no it snot m8 there are ever more as one possibility for it the question is ever when "starttimer exception comes" comes it after the first map it have something to do wth the maps or ips

comes it after db for example
then there is a error inside DB for example "error 11993" means the IDX 1993 std_items is missing and so on and so on

importend is ever the place where the CD stop and say starttimer exception or IP (Servername Inside DB)

Server name is in setup as well and also in the DBsvr and yes it does come if you forget to change a name

as i said there are much possibilitys for starttimer exceptions but if it comes after the first map its 99,9% the mapinfp.txt i know it cause i had it and not only one time *hehe

cheers for your help guys but im afraid all of your suggestions have not worked, ive tried them all checked my !setup and checked all my ip' and names in the sql and text files i even restored the sql and odbe again.

Hello,

You use the job server? Maybe Version 3.4? Checking your Game times DB Name (game1) and Hero DB Name (herocommon1), and should maybe game3g Hero3g hot (in the client look at the DB or SQL Server).
Entries can all times in the MapInfo.txt with the characters; Spears and individual maps call until you discover the mistake, a pattern if you use the old maps:

PS: Is youre IP in lokal Area corect?
(0) 458398 in your setup is Set Emergency Map (0 = Bichon; Coordinate equal 458,398), this map is available?
