I really don't think he understands what we are saying. I am an ex super Moderator of these forums. I know what I'm talking about, but yet it still takes other members to try explaining the rules to you.

You are making users from LOMCN to register on your forum to be able to access a download. It is classed as advertising.

If you have just posted a direct download link like everyone else then it would have been fine. People who have external sites affiliated with LOMCN have asked permission where as you did not.

Only a complete retard would not understand what he was doing, and I'm guessing your not a retard so you was aware that you are basically advertising your site and trying to get memebers from LOMCN onto your own 'resource' forums.

I also think your point on it being advertising is wrong. If you used a upload system which required you to log on to, would you call it advertising jsut because you had to log on? Or would that not be advertising because its not a forum?

He is far from trying to steal members and to be fair, he couldn't if he tried. So everyone is getting worked up over something really small.

Point taken, tho even if that was the case saying is his thread 'We have a registery system intact to allow people to download from my bandwidth' then I would understand. But it still is advertising an external forum todo with MiR, which is against the rules.

I didnt make the rules, I just follow them.

Plus he could have placed the downloaded in a non-registery part of the forums. The thing that annoyed the most was him then saying people on LOMCN have little respect when infact it is him who has little respect and it would have taken all of two seconds to speak to an admin.

Not flaming, but how about just justifying to people why you are forcing them to sign up to your forum for something your releasing to the community of another forum. As i see it, your forcing others to register to obtain these files to provide your forum with more users. Why not just allow them to be downloaded without registering is the only point people are trying to make.

I have seen you posting things like "how do i get more users for my forum" and basically your forcing that matter. People should have a choice as to wether they join the forum, not just have to register for the sake of downloading files, thus eating your bandwith everytime your server makes a query on all these people who have registered and have never posted or browsed your forum since taking your files.
