A quick question - Would you like a story in Mir??

Well I am re creating my server, I was wondering would you like a story? I love storys in games and love getting in to them and always like lots of text and lore.

But what about you? My server is going to have 500 + quests and I would like to think people will read the "lore" and find out what there are things roaming the land, why certain people want certain things you know.

So when you play mir would you like one which would be just log on bish bang wollop, or would you prefere more indepth something with story?

Because it will be a good story! And I dont want to do like 40 pages of text over the 500 npcs if not a single person will read!

Lol,thats what I thought. I think my story is quiet indepth! Just got to try and not over complicate it! My mates sister just got a book deal so I am going to get advice from her as well shes good at storys!

Will be one main story every thing is based of the Main idea. You have sub storys about each class but they are a small story.

I have always been a big fan of lore and storys. I am a very fast typer as well which does help, Im not quiet the 128 words a min I used to be. But I have two hours commute every day and a PDA to carry on working on Scipts and what not.

Its basicaly going to be a book but in game form! Which is kind of cool. I play warcraft and love the story behind that.

I am going to spend a month or so designing storys and stuff, but its good to see that some people think its a good idea.

So thank you all once again! + with storys it opens up a long story line

Also the quests will be very very very time consuming (think this is what you implied ) Which is why im asking if any one has any spare they could send me it would be great But once you got a core of quests that will keep people occupied can constantly update.

aye cant beat a good lore to a game... i recently read the lore on WoW and it really opens the game on whats going on and why things happen but aye go for it.

What do you think would be best to do,
have a bit of background information like a story on say a web site - like on here if I advertise it on here ( hope that makes sense )

or the story the NPCS tell as your doing quests for them and what not?
